I received a e mail message from my "non profit dispensary" today. They expressed concern regarding me not buying my needed medication AT $200.00- $300.00 A- (zip), as before. They said they "missed me". Then they gave me a coupon for 10% off my next purchase (I FEEL SO BLESSED AT THE 10% OFFER (yea right). My wife just paid for a cruise vacation with our yearly saving! (HAPPY WIFE HAPPY LIFE).. THANKS GWE!

Yeah I'm with you, the excitement and exotism of dispensaries have worn off a bit especially since starting my own grow. Dispensaries are places of commerce, period. Just like a pharmacy and a liquor store, they need to drop the whole "we're here to help the community" myth...and train employees better, I.e. try the buds you sell. Last time I went in I asked for heavy indica, no sativa, keeps me awake, to help with pain and insomnia. She suggests one hybrid strain only to hear the customer behind me saying how much sativa there's in it and it won't work. I ended up following the customers recommendations for another strain with great success. Employee doesn't say a word to acknowledge any of this going on and takes my money. Not an isolated incident at all. maybe purely medical dispensaries were better back in the days...rec disp. aren't.
anyways so great to hear how much it has helped you with strokes...x1 LED Cirrus T5 500w, x3 Sun System LEC315, x1 Nanolux LEC315, Saturn 5 controller, x4 6" can vents, 8800 btu A/C, 70 pint dehumidifier

I'm gonna run out of homegrown weed this week, kinda sad to have to go back to the dispensary. You can get great weed here if you can afford it, fully organic, top shelf Cali strains but at the more affordable end of the market I worry about what's in the weed.Sand, sea, sun, sausages, and sinsemilla.
About all you can do in life is be who you are. Some people will love you for you. Most will love you for what you can do for them, and some won't like you at all.

No complaint about quality of buds no doubt, disp. raised the bar. We have crazy pesticide testing required here so even the lower shelf strains are safe.

That makes sense, I guess California will catch up on such legislation.

Oregon's testing regime, while imperfect and inconsistent, makes me feel a little better about the weed that I buy. It may have had a lot of the gooey goodness shaken off, but at least is isn't COVERED in organophosphates (pesticide). But when my homegrown is ready, I hope I get a nice card from my dispensary too.

Where I live we have 4 dispenseries for a population of about 5,000. I've been to all four and would only get meds from 1 maybe 2. 2 of them are basically storefronts and try to have as much product as possible regardless of the quality and their staff don't make you feel welcome.Completed #1: http://forum.growweedeasy.com/forum/...dwc-apocalypse

Isn't it amazing how a couple of (or the lack of) 'Benjamins' can bring out the 'caring nature' in some folks!Smoke weed,.....grow peace!

I've been growing for my wife's meds for so long, ( crones advanced ) her doc gave her a script and we went to the local pot shop and got some good stuff at $ 120. A quarter we couldent afford that for long and I don't trust the pesticides used to grow with anyway.Ive been doing well at keeping her and I supplied but where I live it's still a
no no to grow for yourself even with a script so braking the law o well just another day in paradise. Lol

Ya know, I suppose that if I lived in a state that actually allowed dispensaries to exist, it would be a lovely problem to have. I'm grateful that I can grow my own but I really feel sorry for the folks who are unable to grow their own-then the ONLY option is going to the streets. From a business standpoint, I don't see how a dispensary could stay in business for long if their service really sucked.WHAT???
