      Day 25 veg

The bondage has begun. Each plant will have 8 main branches to radiate out from the center. The strains have been separated into their own tents.

        Day 30 veg

Just continuing with the bondage, removed node 3&4 fan leaves, continuing to tighten the bondage wires. Most of the branches are tided down close to the rings. Some of the seedlings were sent out to the world to be with others. That leaves 4 seedlings in solo cups. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

          Day 35 veg

The bondage is almost complete, just 2-3 branches that need to grow out a few more inches. Then they will be tied for good and be fully spread out. Flip is right around the corner.

            Day 40 veg

The training is complete, a defol was done yesterday, hard to tell. Just about ready for flip. Sluricaine needs a few more days, and slurilope is prime for flip now. It is easier to keep them on the same schedule so in a day or two I will flip them. The solos have been doing really well also. I bet they will be tall after the stretch. This is the fastest I have gotten to flip ever. The only thing different is that I waited until later in the year to start to hopefully avoid intense humidity during the end of flower. The temps were warmer when they were seedlings, maybe that is the reason.

              Day 3 bloom

The tents have been flipped, now the magic begins. When I flip I put them in a 36 hour blackout then back to 12/12 light. Does anyone else do this? When the blackout is done the tops of the plants are a bit yellow but it clears up in a few days. Idk if is from the lack of light or the hormones changing. The solos are still in the front if you can make them out. This is gonna be a jungle.

              Day 8 bloom

The stretch is starting. Did a defol, they needed it. I wanted to wait but the heat is on here. Need to keep the air circulating.

Things are happening in the grow room. The slurilope has finished stretching so time for more torture. They were pruned, netted down, and SPLAT.

sluricaine, this tent is behind the growth curve of the other tent. Still stretching. I will wait to torture them on another day.

So what did you gain from the 36 hours of darkness other than a dip in the electric bill?
                  They do look good

I read about it somewhere back when I was a noob and had no clue what I was doing. I thought everyone did that but I learned later that was not so. It is supposed to kick start the hormone change. It works for me so I just kept doing it.

Have you grown Sluricaine before? You should be doing some smoke reports about the time I am starting the next grow and I have those on deck

Grew sluricaine last year and made these seeds with it also. I only dry flower vape and edibles. The vape is very good and potent, nice terps. It makes some potent tincture. I would think that it would clog up a grinder and probably would not roll in a bone very well due to It being so sticky and gooey. It is probably one of those strains that needs extra fire on it to keep it going.

Gooey and sticky, I hate that, LOL actually I switched to using a food processor when I started growing Ethos strains but on occasion I forget and try to grind a sample in my hand grinder and end up making tincture out of ii in order to get it back apart. I grew their Slurricane #7 X Platinum Kush Breath #5 and it was kick ass smoke, that one needed the food processor for sure. I also grew their Garlic Storm and was much less impressed. I think my next grow will be sativa dominant strains then I will come back to Slurricane #7 S1

                Day 17 bloom

Here are some top down pix of the canopy 4 hours after being thrashed. I try to get an even layer of bud sites in the net and everything at the same height. Note how the main stems are bent and kinked but not broken off. They will heal and the buds will grow.

More work in the grow room today. Everyone is doing well. Sluricaine may be a bit pissed at me now but they will get over it and thrive.
