After feeding a low dose of seaweed, microbes, and a supplemental nitrogen+cal- mag, and then stewing over it all evening I eventually worked up the courage to do something I haven't done before and give them a mild haircut while they still weeks from flipping, I usually do the day before flipping and then a few weeks later. Fingers crossed it was beneficial.

11 hrs later, 6 of those being lights out and the bounce back is confidence building!
Ive also bumped the light up to 600 on vege and lifted auto up so it's getting 750. Probably not going to be able to get much more into them until the flip.

Annette turned up to the party today. Running out of room to keep tieing down and not close enough to the wire net which now I'll try use to keep the tops apart when I let them go vertical. Also hooked up UV bars and set them for four 15 minute intervals throughout the day. Lifted auto higher nearly getting 800ppfd now and moved the side lights around to get another one on the auto which is still stacking up.
My high tech watering system works a treat too.8 Photos

I use a 2 liter soda bottle with holes poked in the cap for hand watering. Easy to direct and holds a good amount of water.

Rogee bit like a DIY drip system.. I water a cup at a time until I've given them 2 litres each so I don't get run off and with the hose on there I can get it in between the leaves without getting water on them also I can do it sort of standing up rather than on my knees.
The little auto must be entering the final stages as the top of the soil was still moist up until last night and they due for a feed today..... I'll wait till tomorrow to water auto and just do vegetative today. Also the one on the left needs another defol, 6 days since last one and I got leaves on top of leaves on top of shoots goin on everywhere. The one on the right definitely would be the taller skinnyer sister if I had let them go naturally.

Nearly ready for the flip. Auto still stacking, all white pistils hopefully when I drop it back to 12/12 it will move it's arse and start to finish up.4 Photos

Flipped the girls today, bit of a lollipop, reset temp control to 24°c and Rh to 45, increased air exchange time, hooked up carbon filter and turned extraction up to nearly max flow. Left the lights at 600+- ppfd to get the right DLI, will start to increase once I see hairs, increased UV light time by 1/2 hour so they on for total of 1.5 hours. I top dressed the pots with a inch of the "water only soil" and lightly watered in. Tomorrow I'll give them a feed. I didn't do much defol on the canopy side and will wait for 3 weeks before I do. Aannnddddd yea think that is it.10 Photos

Thanks, yea probably a gimmick but they reckon a little bit extra than whats already part of the main light helps at flower time especially, something bout the buds and also why I use them is it supposed to stop mould and deter most pests. I was looking at supplement infa red bars as well but spider farmer don't sell them by them selves at the moment and I already had the UV bars so I'll wait.

3 days after flip and they seem to be handling the transition well. Gonna be hard to wait another couple of weeks before picking up the trimmers though.
Finally getting some brown hairs and cloudy trichs on the mongrel.
Bout time to build up some motivation, shovel some shit and start getting the outdoor plot set up again.
Note how close my neighbour is... Paranoia where you at.5 PhotosLast edited by Wayzee; 07-14-2025, 09:57 PM.

With the feeding and watering side of things, I've been feeding a mixture of different brands of hydro synthetic and organic nutes and soil organic nutes and feeding when I think they need it, so far this has gone well.
The watering I've been pretty much following Nebulas schedule for this size pot and etc with exception to having to back the water amount off for the little auto, now after observing and talking with my other 2 plants as they are transitioning I'm going to have start watering 2ltrs every second day, they are getting a little too dry by the third day.
