    Light Selection

Hello, all first-time poster. i have a question about Grow Lights for a 2X2X3 Vivosun tent, on a slim budget. i know Nebula writes about what she uses for her personal grow, but i have a Best VA 3000
i got a while back for a good price, but too hot for the tent that i just bought about 3 months ago from Ebay. So, i need a smaller light without the fans & heat inside the Tent. i was looking on Ebay
again, at the Vivosun, Viar Spectra, Next light, & Aero light, & Spider farms all 100w - 150w some as low as $50.00 to $100.00 wanted to get the most up to date (2025) just not quite sure what the
best one for the best power, coverage, best price one is?? would love to hear what everyone has to say, & should i buy from Ebay which i like, or from the Lights webpage? Thank you

    Somethings to consider.
    Every light gives off heat.
Your small tent will likely fry your plants if you leave the tent closed when the light is on, even with good exhaust.
You can cool down plants a lot with fans.

      Some other things to consider.
Dimmable, this is a great feature some say the LEDs last longer at a reduced power and more control on the provided light.
Remote mounted drivers, mount them outside of the tent for less heat inside.
Along with that Spider Farmer LED, Mars Hydro has been good for me.

2x2x3 is a good tent size for seedlings and vegetative state up to 30 days. Once the cultivars reach certain height they will get light burn unless your light is turned to a low setting. There is not a lot of height to work with.
