    Additionally, you might want to consider that if you have the power, hanging your light further from the canopy will generally lead to more even coverage across the grow area with less of a hot spot in the middle.

    That why when you see big licensed grows their lights are often pretty far from the plants, but they have the power and across the whole warehouse the light levels will be similar everywhere.

    This is the plant I had to put outside and did the last 3 weeks inside when it went outside it reveged for a couple of weeks

    Thanks guys much appreciated I had some older lamps that had older diodes but worked well at full power in vege but flowering was average still got 9 ozs off 1 plant but but buds were small but solid as fuck had to move 1 plant out doors for room now they ended up quite solid

    I set my lights in veg to keep room temps about right and set height to what the plants like which means dimmed to around 50% in early veg and a couple of feet

    Spiderfarmer has their recommendations on their web site. Typical is 24" give or take during the vegetative state. The intensity level should be moderate, prolly 50% max at that stage of growth. Don't blast the plants with light. The intensity will get the light down into the canopy. The spectrum is there regardless of the intensity. Watch the plants and see how they respond. As the plants mature increase the intensity. In flower you'll want the lights 12"-18" above the canopy and the light as intense as the plants will tolerate.

    Hi peeps got a question 1st time tent grower seedlings are 21 days ish and wondering is it better to have lights far away and full power or closer and less power one seed does well no matter what other seed doesn't like the light to much both same variety purple boost highness.
