    Splice?

Hi. Sorry if this has been asked before… searched but found nothing. Is it possible to splice a growth tip onto a stem? Got a little scissor happy and accidentally lopped off the growth tip of one of my 8 colas that I’m manifolding. Still have a few growth tips on other plants. The one I lopped current has ZERO growth tips. Help

The short answer is yes. Grafting might be a better word to use in searching the long answer.
The long answer is it first depends on how young the cutting is. The long answer is better online because you can see nifty drawings that explain how you need to cut at certain angles and get you cambium layers lined up.
A longer answer is it is the same thing as what orchards do, grafting cuttings onto rootstock.
You can take a cannabis rootstock and take cuttings from multiple strains and grow them as the same plant.
Take grafting porn if you give it a shot, if you would.

Can it be done? well yes it can, but the difficulty level is high.
            Good luck!

If I understand correctly, it's all about the cambium layer.
