    Small Tent Intake?

2x2x5' tent. 4", inline fan for top extraction to filter. Check. But; What sized vent, for Intake, down below, please?

I've heard every suggestion, from two to ten inches. Two to four would be closer, wouldn't it? Two, or four?

I'll take this answer and run with it. Never get finished, otherwise!

4" out, 4" in. You'll get a pucker tent but it's all good.
    C'mon, mule!

IMO it would be better to incorporate a larger intake because you can always find a way to reduce the cfm coming in... It is a major thing if you build and find out the intake is to small...The latter was my case - I grow in a smurf tent about 3 ft h x 6 ft l x 4 ft d - long story short I upgraded to a 6" exhaust but stil have to leave the tent open...not enough intake to keep temps down, the short tent requires a huge amount of cfms to keep the temp down...

mind you 5ft will give your more head room, and the heat will build up high, unlike a short tent, the heat is pretty much where your plants are at....

Finally got around to doing it!! - Cut and beat out the powered fan intake, after that mess was repaired I cut in two 5 gal buckets with bottom cut out...I know the sona tubes would of been a better option but the weather can be a real issue here and I did not want to make the ride to home depot but saw some nice black 5 gal buckets in $ store and thought Huimm...So we now have about 11 .5 " of intake under each 300 w led. A small honewell turbo fan fits perfect in front of them if I need forced air back. It looks like the temps will hold around 75 to 77 and I sure that would come down if I use to turbo fans..

I am unsure of how the humidity will be at this point, we shall see.

Ah! So That's where post notifications go!

Sorry, changeofpace2014 I've actually been back long since. Never spotted that.

Yeah. Last night, I fired her up for the first time? Pretty random bunch of targets. 'If it can reach and hold This ....?' It's been fun!

I'm relaxing now, though. It was holding Bang on the money, this morning! Happy, happy, happy! It Can Do It! (Bit stupid, really! Of course it can do it! It's exactly what all this stuff Exists to do! )

My only problem, now, is when I light this stove, in a minute! I think todays lesson shall be; 'Does the stove 'overly' influence the temp's Inside my excruciatingly Over Insulated Grobe?
