Lab nerds - about filter paper

I just ordered 11µm "Qualitative Filter Paper: 1 Grade, 12.5 cm Dia, 0.16 mm Thick, Medium" to dewax some resin. It is the smallest micron I can get without spending ten times the money.
If you do not know what dewaxing is, in this case dewaxing is freezing homemade resin in 200 proof food grade ethanol and running it though a Buchner funnel to float, condense, and remove the frozen lipids and other bits that came through in making the resin.
If I layer two filters, will that help remove more of the frozen lipids and other bits than a single filter?

Good article. Just what I was talking about except the article starts with an alcohol extraction, I believe. RSO. I'm starting with wax/shatter/resin. I don't want to say BHO because people with get on me if I do and I am way too fragile to be gotten on. First filter is a coffee filter. Winterizing(s) will be done in the 11 micron.
My problem is temperature. Because of the difficulty I have in finding dry ice, the best I can do is -20°F. Might be I do it a few times. Might be I try for dry ice, again. Bother!
