    Keeping a strain available

I’m a relatively new grower, but I’ve recently stumbled across a strain that I really like.

its called Kush and Cookies (CBD), and it’s got roughly 20% THC and the same amount of CBD.

But apparently, the breeder has decided not to produce any more seeds.

So, my question. Should I plant the two fem seeds I’ve still got, nurture them till flowering, and then intentionally stress them so they herm? Then harvest the seeds and I’m set?

is this the smartest way to make sure I continue to have access to this strain, or am I missing something really obvious?

and as always, thank you in advance.

I'm no expert on this but expect your next batch to produce more hermies.

This is not all bad though, but it can be depending on how much it hermies. Some say toss hermie seeds. I used to follow that practise and never saw more than 1 or two seeds in an entire season. I'm getting a bit more slack now though

I got hermies in my last two grows but haven't found more than 4 or 5 seeds in a 31oz jar yet which is OK by me.

You dont say if these are autos or photos, if photos one can clone them.
IF I can keep power long enuf to post this,,
Many think feminizing will destroy our favorite plant, and they will become self pollinating or all hermies. Reversing a plant is less likely to produce hermies.
Me Myself and I kill and toss all natural hermies and their seed.

Get yourself some Sts reversal spray. Just Google that. You can get pre mixed or the two regents separate and mix yourself. Grow a plant. Make sure it's female. If photo spray half of the plant tops with sta spray once every 5 days starting two weeks after flip. If auto start as soon as the buds begin to form. By the 3rd week you should start seeing pollen sacs on the treated buds. When the flowers open use them to pollinate the other half of the plant. Grow 5 to 6 more weeks congratulations you have a large supply of s1 feminized seeds.

.... and do not smoke or digest any of the sprayed plant. Dispose of. It is toxic!
