Possible to super crop pinch more than once per cola?

I spent too much time gawking and didn't think enough about "everything", so the plant got too tall, but it's exceptionally healthy and happy.

I've super cropped in a previous grow, but following instruction I only bent the each cola to a 90 degree angle. That was with Blue Dream which is very dense and big bugs. The tips never came back up, but I think that cropping was done to late in flowering.

My question is, can you pinch 2 or 3 places in a stem and not just 1?
What I'm after is, two or three bends so that the cola is pointed up to the light (indoor grow) after I'm finished with the cropping. It would look like Click image for larger version

Instead of leaving the colas on a 90, will it hurt to have 2 or even 3 bends to get the cola back upright? My end game is to simply lower the colas by several inches (up to 12) to gain a lot more room for upward growth.
If each bend is 6 inches apart that would lower each cola dramatically and I'd be able to relax. This is the end of the first week of flowering, so I'm either going to do it and it works today, or, just do it today and wait for the fallout.

    Any thoughts on that?

Yes it is possible and works but adds stress and that lessens yields but better than it growing above the light

Thanks, Bluey, for the prompt response. I really thought I'd ask first, do it, then wait for the answer. I just don't see another way.

I could just do the 90, but with an indoor grow there just isn't the room to have long colas bent over - especially when I did LST and now have 8 colas.

Funny how we grow a lot of crops and then "blow it" on one. Well, I'll speak for myself. Always experimenting it where I got into trouble. "Try this and see if it works" let the height get away from me.

Pinching it also reduces quality if it gets pinched too much. I have a lot of damaged stems here and some of the bud quality is rubbish because of it so beware you may lose the whole bud. Still good for edibles or hash though.

Super cropping is great if you have a foot print big enough and who does? So I have dog legged stems like a N many times when I get too much strectch in Flower, with no negitive results. Nerxt time try a SCROG or a Mainline to control the stretch.

You can bend them as much as u want so long as the stem doesn't snap. Do you have a net or something? When the stem is bent it will need some type of artificial support. With out it they will just point down.
Don't worry, be happy, grow sticky buds.
