Happy Saturday everyone! Hope all my 🇺🇸 friends had a great thanksgiving, and those around the world took advantage of some nice canna sales! I picked up quite a few new cultivars I’m excited to grow in 2025…. 2025 that’s a weird thing to say and hear. Anyshway, the T20 Snowcaine V3 gals are doing great! My carbon filter is almost dead! Should have put that in the Amazon Black Friday cart 😂!

They are almost 5 weeks into flower. They got a round of fishshit and then their first taste of molasses for their two waterings last week. I gave them what I presume will be their last feeding tonight, varying amounts of gaia 2-8-4 (depending on pheno), a 1/2tsp mag salt and a handful of worm castings. P5 is browning up quicker than the others. P2 (runt) is a badass and might have the largest yield. The 3 gal plastics are larger than the 5 gal fabrics. I’ll be trying a better experiment with that later.

My new grow room/lung setup has handled the recent cold weather very nicely and I am going to attempt a winter grow after this one finishes!

I think that’s everything for now. Pics to follow on next post…

Please ignore the rh on the meter, the tent had been open for a bit… It is super dry with the cold weather and needed heat. I’m running them at 50 now and will knock them to 45 soon.

Thank you Dirty! It’ll be water, molasses and probably one more round of fishshit. The hard part is done though! I’m trying to focus on the environmental side making adjustments to the new lung setup and some cold ass weather blowing in. I’d like a little more consistency on temps and what not but there is no play book here, just figuring it out as we go.

And I forgot about cyber Monday so I picked up a new ACI carbon filter for 20% off. I may try to hold out for the next grow before using it though.

I have seen “rechargeable” carbon for other applications but I’m not sure on the science behind it all. As expensive as the filters are it warrants a research rabbit hole. I have gotten good use out of this one (aci) way longer than expected and the last run of G2F autos about did it in by the end of it.

I live in the dank so carbon filters I know nothing about. ACI I use alot. Fantastic service on parts. Shipping across country takes a bit of time though.

dirtymike I think I found the threshold of fertilizer for these gals. Notice the tips a day or two after the last feeding on 11/30. The intersection of 4 different phenos leaves in the pic.

I should have went with the Minimum ratio of 1 teaspoon per 1 gallon of Coco. Those look fine to me but I'm a tip burner. Working on that. Still learning this indoor game. Check out Going2fast outdoor grow, Nice. Figured Frost would have got them by now. el hombre es un maestra de cannibis

No, I did not measure the ec of the feed or soil before that feed. I’m honestly not checking ph either since I straightened out the one pheno showing a deficiency early on. I believe they burnt because I fed them too soon. I wanted to push the limits with the Gaia so it wasn’t necessarily unexpected.

I’ll note that I do spot check my water’s ph probably weekly. I’m on a very low tds, acidic well water that I keep bubbling in a bucket for 2-3 days. It constantly clocks in at 5.3-5.4 untouched and 6.8-6.9 after bubbling. I’m loving the organic dry amendment and bubbles water only (w/ periodic microbes/molasses). I’m excited to try it again with some autos. Definitely keeping notes and will adjust feeding accordingly.

This was 3 years ago. Harvested mid August I think. Here's a link to it.

Here we go another year, a little cool here this far in. I am doing some of my own seed, and a few seed from GWE peps The first one is Blueberry fem (GWE), She does not like something, (maybe a toxicity? I have looked up her skirt with a 30x lens), then from this years seeds a MPxT1000xSanta Mara Colombian Gold, followed by

Yeah the guys at T20 said Snowcaine v2 was one of their most popular cultivars ever so hence the v3 trails now. I have not heard any release time yet but the results from other growers are impressive as well. Fruity frost bombs!

Happy hump day! It’s been a minute since I’ve updated. The girls all survived while I was out of town for 3 days. All the planing payed off! I am far from automated lol. We are creeping on week 7 flower for the girls and we have some nice purple colors coming on by some phenos. They all still stink of sweet strawberries! Their pistils are turning at different stages and im thinking it’ll be a staggered harvest (not complaining!). It’s been water only with one round of fishsh!t (should have spelt that properly all along). Next watering will have molasses and I will alternate with that and plain water from here out. Think that’s it. Pics on next post ✌️&💚

Yeah those colors really set it over the last week! I am excited for them to finish up!! Their drinking has slowed a bit. Typically would have been tonight but they are still a bit heavy. Molasses for their next watering assuming tomorrow.

                  #43
Careful with the molasses. I use PK 13-14 from canna in its place.

Some say the addition of molasses to a feed late in flower might only add sugar mass to the buds. Ive never used it. I wish some university or industry body would test this and publish the results in a proper controlled trial.

My thoughts on molasses are the sugars are food for microbes to keep them going and munching through what’s left in the soil and also adding some sweetness to the buds. Pics below are the molasses I use and also the back of a nftg product I’ve used at finish time, it’s all sugars.
