    More light?

I know i have seen a thread here somewhere on the subject but didn't manage to find it.
On monday i will have a extra 600w ballast and im wondering if it would be overkill to use both? Allready running 600w HPS and 2x250w CFL over 3x4ft of plants. Using aprox 60% of the tent so i guess the plants could be spread out a bit more. What do you guys think? Have a backup ballast or go all in?

If you have the ability to handle the added heat AND the plants will tolerate it, then proceed. I suppose the only accurate way to determine if you have enough light energy is to get a PAR meter-then you can make direct measurements.
    WHAT???
    5x5 grow space
    900w of Vero's and F-strips
    4-17gal totes self-made UC system.

Ideal light is 10,000lumens per sqf anything over that will definitly need extra co2. Asumeing heat and rh is under controll.

Thanks for chipping in, fellow growers in spirit Placing a order now for another bulb asap. In that case the plan will be to gradualy lower the lights so the plants can adjust. Went overkill with the exhaust so the heat shouldn't be a issue, yea well, time will show.
