Soil is Roots Organic Lush (trying for first time). Femenized Godfather OG's.Seeds put in paper towel on the 13th, 24hrs later they cracked and were put in soil. Sprouted the 16th. So 5 days since absolute beginning. The pics are from today's watering. Don't dog on my Folgers pots lol...They have served me well. They'll stay in those until about first 5 leaf fans show up then to 5 gal fabrics. I'll update about every 48-72 hours. I have them in my 2x4. I have a 4x4 still in the box with dual Evo 3's for lighting but need help putting it up. So within a week I'll get some help and I'm going to try and fill the whole 4x4 tent with 2 plants and see how much I can squeeze out of them.

Update...Had an issue with one of the ladies. It was corrected. You can tell by the location on the leaves.. it started, fixed it, and new growth looking like back on track. Over watered her. I corrected it by putting paper towels under the folgers can and let it leach the water at the bottom of the can. They have little slots on the bottom I cut using a knife so it can seep out, but the water was sitting underneath the can and not evaporating. So the roots at the bottom were soaked and at top they were dry. By drawing that water out from the bottom the roots were able to absorb the nutes again and it stopped the deficiency in its tracks. It worked. In the pics in the previous post you can see if you zoom in on the image the damage was done. New growth showing recovery is over. Dead giveaway if you look at her sister and compare health. Won't be long and those fans are going bye bye....

Ok, I did a tuck on the plant on the right. She had some undergrowth I wanted to expose to light but the fans were blocking it. So instead of cutting the fans cause she's young still, I did a tuck of the fan using the new growth as an anchor. Saves from cutting the fan this early and gives those branches sprouting light. Saves on lst. Couple days they will be above the fans...

I went ahead and topped today. I know I said I was going to wait but they are about 11" this morning. I'll give them about a week to recover (my plants recover fast) and give those bottoms time to catch up. I felt like it was time. I know I keep updating so frequently, but I figured might help someone out....

Oh, I'm gonna share my tent mods to my AC Infinty 2x4x72". I noticed last grow when the vent system is on, the back of the tent and front of the tent sucks in about 4" on each side. So total loss of horizontal grow space is about 8" when the vent system is on a 3. So, pulling a McGyver, I used 4 straps that were not in use (2×2) and put them up to prevent them from being sucked in. 8" is a lot to lose when your plants grow like these. You can see in the pics the strap stopping the door from caving in...
Also, the brackets on the Evo 3. They cause the light to hang low. Lose another 5" just by using the stock bracket. So I used the roll of zip ties that came with the tent. Fed them through the holes on the light and wrapped them around the top bar. Now as the plants stretch, all I got to do is twist them tighter to pull the light closer to the vent system, eliminating the need for the brackets. I left the brackets on cause when seedlings even on 10 the light needs to be lower. See pics. Forgive my dust jacket, it will get changed when I flip next week. I double checked heat output of the driver to see if it would compromise the fan motor and electronics, and minimal change. Not enough to be concerned about.
Another thing, below the window needs to be a little loop of strapping to sick your finger in to pull it out twards you to see seedlings or small plants. You have to use your fingernail on the seam to pull the window towards you so you can see that far down. Or a second window at the midway point on the tent. If using the stock light that came with it (S22 ?) if the light is below the top window, you can't see down because it's solid, not a bar light. You HAVE to open the tent up. In my world, big no no. I only open to water and that's it. Using the Evo 3 its not a big deal, but the stock light you cant see through it. The board prevents that.
Just my 2 cents. Forgive me AC Infinity. Not dogging on your stuff. I use it all, but that tent needs to be a little more user friendly. If it were me, I'd make some slight changes to improve an already great product. Maybe a bar across the midway point on the front and back to prevent the tent from sucking in on itself. Make the one in the front removable.
