    Yellowing leaves

I have 3 plants in peat cups like the photo and they are under a T5 light. The light is sitting on 2x4’s so the spacing is 5-6”. I’ve noticed that the bottom leaves are turning a light green, or yellowish green. The leaves are at about the cup diameter now. My question is; is the yellowing of the lower leaves normal, or is this a sign of a problem? And of course what is it and how do you correct it?

That is the same picture you posted in your 'Sick Plant' thread on September 4 and 'Repotting' thread on September 6.
You are asking the same questions over and over. Have you done anything?

No Gingerbeard he hasn't. He has another new thread asking the same questions from the sick plant thread.

It’s the same picture but different question and a different plant.
I didn’t think that you needed a picture of a yellowing leaf to know what one was. Hopefully I’ll hear from someone who does.
Also this isn’t the picture submitted at sick plant. I’ve repotted 2 of those up to the bottom leaves in clay pots, because that’s what I had. I don’t have my fabric pots yet.

Its like taking in VW bug and telling the mech to change all 8 sparkplugs, or mounting a 14" tire on a 15" wheel.

Thing is Brwnthmb you are asking the same questions you have already gotten answers to. I'm not directly answering your yellow leaf question because of how many other folks have given you advice. Trying to get you to check out a website is advice. The pages we are linking are how the majority of us learned.
Your comment "It’s the same picture but different question and a different plant." in post 4. My friend, good luck with getting help like that!
You're right. My bad. That is not the picture from 'Sick Plant'. Got the posts mixed up. It was 'Repotting' and 'Planting Seedlings.' My condolences.

im sorry if you feel like I’m ignoring advice and asking repetitive questions. (I’m not.) I think the confusion is because I submitted the same picture with my “yellowing leaves” post as was in my “planting seedlings” post. This was misleading. I should have taken the time to take a picture of the problem and submitted that instead. I did take a picture of the yellowing leaves but only in defense. I’ll try to include it with this defense as well. I hope I can get it to work. I am not trying to take advantage of your time or my privileges here. Thanks for your help.
It does not appear like I can include a picture after typing. I will do that in another answer.

Here’s a picture of the plant with yellowing leaves. The picture I submitted with that post was an old picture that I had, and it is a younger plant, not as big, but somewhat representative if viewed from the side. But viewed from the side it looked about the same.

i wasn’t asking the same questions but I think now that the answer was the same. However I didn’t know that overwatering can produce nutrient deficiency and even symptoms of light burn.

And I don’t see what is offensive about “it’s the same picture but a different question and a different plant.”

ID:	631976 this is the picture of the plant with yellowing leaves, and it is the picture I should have posted. I assume (now) that the yellowing could be from overwatering, and I think this is what you meant (I was asking the same questions) when really you meant I was asking multiple questions with the same answer. I had no way to know that, at the time.
I did say that I didn’t think you needed a picture of a yellowing leaf to know what one was; maybe I’ll find someone who does. I apologize for that, just in case that was the offending remark. That was uncalled for. Try to understand that I felt unjustly criticized.
My plants are doing much better now. I have some that probably won’t make it but I’ve been able to save most of them using what I’ve learned in this forum.
                Thank you

                  This, again? Okay.
Offended, no. Unwilling to watch someone ask the same questions and post old pictures that are no longer relevant because they are old, yes. Notice I stopped posting on your threads? But you called me out.
Why current pictures? If you tell me you have a yellowing leaf, I can give you a pantheon of reasons why it might be yellow. The picture you just posted is the same one you posted in this thread a week ago which means the plant is at least a week older and I would not be surprised if it were older still! I am going to don my genius hat and say those two yellow leaves you are showing are altogether dead. At least they are so necrotic there is nothing that can be done and any advice would be time poorly spent giving.
Why keep a single thread going? In this thread, where can I look to know what medium, nutrients, lights, circulation, ventilation, etc. are you using? I am not backing up to previous threads. That information is needed for sound advice. The question about your setup is rhetorical. At this point, I don't care. Want coherent, cohesive information and advice? Name your grow. Start a thread. Stay with it.
You feel unfairly criticized? Do you think I am unfairly criticizing you because you offended me? I already told you that you have not offended me. If you feel unfairly criticized, that is, without need for further information, 100% on you.

FOR THIS TIME AROUND (FOR THIS NEWEST REVISITING OF THE POST)
You’re missing the point. I’m not asking for advice.
I was revisiting the older post and saying again that I wasn’t asking the same questions. What was the same was the answer (overwatering). That was most likely the answer to all three questions. I didn’t know that but you must have.

Why wont you post a pic from today of this plant? I mean you wouldn't take your 6 YO kid to the Dr for their 3 year checkup, right?.
We need up to date and complete info if you want us to be able to help. Other than that those leaves will take care of their selves, they'll die and fall off.

You are not asking for advice? Those question marks at the beginning of this post indicate you are asking questions of the searching-for-advice type. Please, Jesus! If I am not as smart as I think I am, what the fuck does a question mark mean when put at the end of a sentence, Jesus? Jesus hep me! Jose? Tio George? Tia Guadalupe? Hallelu... too far...
How 'bout the myriad of all them thar links people have been posting? Have you done anything more than look at the bud porn and read the words in bold? I'll say this, again: Those links are how most of us learned!
If it is a matter of not being able to take a new picture when you do not ask for the same advice in a new post or thread, say something! I've spent a lot of time in that boat for lack of batteries or lack of camera. Bud, I do not feel either of those to be the case.
Otherwise, yeah, what Rwise talked about. It is also what I talked about, but he used fewer words and was not so impassioned, so I'll give him credit. Good job, R-dog!

Hmmmm, The plant is still in the peat pot, which is soggy wet, which means the medium is soup at the bottom, which means the roots are drowning...what could be the problem? Boy this is a real stumper. I got it! maybe try reading. https://www.growweedeasy.com/basics#...under-watering

That picture is so last week homegrown. How do you think it looks now? (in a whiney voice say) Nnnoooooowwwwww????
It is also a different picture and of a different plant than the first post. Unless that first picture is... shit... how old is that first picture? It is only a day older than the picture posted a week ago which is the same picture posted today.
