Strange (to me) growth where buds should be

Hi everyone. I'm a novice grower and I know that I know nothing. I started some seeds and managed to get some plants to grow.

I have six plants and one is different from the rest. Could it be a female? Thanks!

That is a full blown male and by the looks of the dusty leaves hes already done his dirty work... Do the other 5 plants look like that? Very gently put a garbage bag over top and take him behind the wood shed..if you get my drift. lol

Every cannabis plant within several miles depending on the wind has been pollinated by your male plant that is in full bloom.

Pollen can travel 2000 miles in the right wind. No wonder I get a few seed every year.

Get rid of it asap…. It will seed up the rest of your plants for sure. That specimen is a male cannabis plant in full glory. We want the female plants for smokable flower. Definitely get rid of it. Good luck

        Thanks everyone for the information.

I did eliminate the male plant and recently harvested the rest.
