    Some observances during drying (trichomes)

3 pics are from day of harvest, 3 pics are about 36 hours after cutting, and 3 are about 72 hours after. Same bud. Didn't know if anyone has actually observed trichomes develop during the drying and curing process. I'll keep it up dated as time progresses. Notice they are still maturing during the drying process....Something to keep in mind when going by trichome clear, cloudy, amber to gauge harvest window.

The pics from day of harvest there is hardly any amber colored ones

I always notice more gingering after cutting. Do you mean that or more new trichomes growing?

They don't grow when drying or curing, that's for sure. For a fact their chemistry changes over time during curing and for the better, both breaking down and off gassing the bad stuff and definitely improving the good stuff.

I have no idea what's going on with the good stuff but it works. The bad stuff oxidises and also off gasses ether/s.

Updated pics after 1 week curing. Same bud. Got a mixture of all 3 plus a little yellow ones in that one pic.
