    Premature flowering

I have a couple of plants that are only 6-8 inches tall and are starting to flower. They are auto flowers being grown in a tent with 12/12 light in super soil. Why is this happening? Can I return them to the vegetative state by changing the light schedule? What should I do?

That is a good read by the way Gingerbeard I was a bit perplexed with differences between photo period and auto cultivation of cannabis. This simple how to guide explained it all and in great detail. Must have took some time to prepare it. Thanks again Gingerbeard.

There was a poster in a dispensary. It had silhouettes of a Sativa, Indica, and Ruderalis. I thought it would be proper smarmy to ask the bud tenderess where the Ruderalis was. I mean, who the hell ever heard of Ruderalis?
"There are the Sativa. There are the Indica. But where are your Ruderalis?"
The BT was one of those smoken hot BT's that get my ginger gingering and I forgot to be smarmy.
Wasn't until years later and learned about autos that I realized what a daggum fool I'da made in front of the SHBT for asking for her show me her top shelf Ruderalis. Might have gotten a slap, too.

A good slap from a SHBT at my age would be plenty exciting. Id show her my "ruderalis" for 18 hours of sunlight everyday.

See, DM. Comments like that are why I don't introduce you to my parents.

Not enuf info as autos vary from 3-8 weeks to start flowering, and finish in 56 -130 days depending on genetics.
Tall has nothing to do with it, what does the breeder say about them? How long from sprout and how long to finish?

Also why 12/12s? Why not 20/4 or 18/6? 12/12s will prompt a photo to flower as young as 3 weeks.

That's a real shame Gingerbeard I was so looking forward to a grip and grin with them.
