    trimming the bottom?

So my grow is going very well thx to great advice here about fertilizing; topping, establishing sex etc. everything green and healthy, adding lot's of height etc. And I'm trimming off anything that is yellow or brown, but it's not much. but I've read that you should take off the stuff at the bottom green or not, so that the plant can focus on the flower. I've also read that you should not do this so you do not stress the plant during flowering. What's the best answer at this point? I'm in Northern NJ FWIW. thx as always TVR

Remove anything that will be splashed by soil when it rains OR you are watering

Outdoors I just remove the bottom stuff near the soil as above and to reduce the crawly pest problem.

Stressing the plant at any time is not great and if in flower, my observations on what I've done, seems to bring on and perhaps accelerate trichome development at the expense of flower development, but I'm not certain of that as I haven't done it enough to be sure. I also think it may effect how the plant stretches.

I'm cutting my 5 indoor girls right back this week and am about half way through that job already and my plants are in early to mid flower. If I don't I risk too high RH and temps which spells even bigger problems.
