    SOIL My plant

    Hi everyone
i grew my plants from seed without knowing the strain
i initiated flowering on june 25th so im on the 5th week of flowering
last weed one of my plants showed yellowing of the leaves as you can see in the pics
the fertilizer im using is npk 10-52-10+te
what is the most likely deficiency my plant might have?
im using a 100w led light 8700 lumens and two fans for air circulation and the soil is betmos

Its pulling nutrients from the lower fan leaves faster than you are putting it in the soil. It looks fine. I wouldn't adjust anything. Let it roll. Those sacrificial fan leaves serve a lot of purposes like storing extra calcium and magnesium and what ever the all important bud production wants.

      Thank you πŸ™πŸ»
But some of the leaves that are turning yellow are a bit higher so would you recommend any action i should do?

Based on your description, it's likely that your plant is experiencing a phosphorus deficiency. The yellowing of leaves during the 5th week of flowering is a common symptom of phosphorus deficiency, especially when using a fertilizer with a high phosphorus content like NPK 10-52-10+TE. Additionally, the fact that you're using a 100W LED light and two fans for air circulation suggests that your plant is receiving adequate light and air circulation, which rules out other potential causes of yellowing leaves.

Thank you, but i didn’t understand how my plant has phosphorus deficiency while im using npk? Would you recommend any specific fertilizer i can use to stop other leaves from yellowing? Thanks in advance πŸ™πŸ»

I also used the symptom checker on gwe and it also suggested that the plant might have magnesium deficiency, is it common?

That is an answer AI would be proud of, "quotes and all"

I tried AI and it gave a confusing answer just like the one above suggesting i have phosphorus deficiency while im using a really high phosphorus fertilizer πŸ˜… maybe we need a few years before AI can help in growing.

Some eating of the leaves is expected, you dont say what the PH is and it can change from veg to flower (as does her diet) so what is the PH?

I haven't tested for pH tbh, should i test the water or soil?

yes both, in soil in flower look for 6.5-6.8 PH at the roots, if organic and all buffers are in place it should be OK (but PH issues are showing), the plant will adjust the PH.

Late stage flowering. I'm going to change my handle to 'Latestagefloweringbeard'. I probably won't but you get me. Lots of this going around the forum.
Since you are unfamiliar with the LSF discoloring, are you a new grower? It is the same thing some trees do in the autumn.
And since you are unfamiliar with the strain, you might be in for the purps! Do a little research on the GWE website about temperatures and color. Flavonoids, if you want the word people around here think I'm making up.
Do what dirtymike said not to do.

Thank you sir. I am a new grower and this is my first time and i did a lot of research on gwe but i got a little worried since i read so much about leaves never being able to recover from such discoloration and don’t want to lose my plants while so close to harvest. And I'm familiar with flavonoids as I am a pharmacist πŸ˜…

Say it with me, "Flavonoid!" We gotta teach these other dope smokers about flavonoids. Yeah, we got us some fancy college boys and girls in here, but... flavonoid!
Now, you need to keep with the trichomes.
Did I miss what medium you are using? And what part of the world? And whole plant picture? Maybe one of the grow area? We likes our porn.

Ah, I See You're a Man of Culture As Well 🀣 flavonoidsssss

My medium is betmos (or peat moss as some call it), i have an unused bathroom so i used it as a grow area, i live in Iraq so it’s hard to get weed in this part of the world and if you do you dont know what strain it is or how long it has been in storage so i decided to plant my own and got some seeds, i originally had 5 plants but 2 of them turned out to be males so i got rid of them immediately.

The problem with peat is the PH it will be like 3.5, much to low for our girls.

Those plants are looking good for 3.5pH. How do you figure such low pH and such good results?

You get the medal for the biggest risk taker on the forum! Two local sheriff's deputies have seen my grow on separate occasions. Their only comments were along the lines of how healthy my plants look. You have much greater concerns! Crap!!!
Since seed and weed are hard to come by in your area, consider making your own seeds. You got rid of the males but could maybe look into it if there is a next time. Cloning might also be something to consider.
The flower you get. I am super curious about what landraces are in your area. The US is not known for its landraces. We have to rely on brick weed from Mexico for that.

That brick weed is no longer "landrace", they buy new seed about every third year. Oh ya, what about the Kansas killer (hemp) that grows wild all over the state.
Cloning is a great idea, also making ones own feminized seed.

Was the seed propagated or simply gathered from stock? Purpose vs. what would otherwise wind up as bagseed?
So, how much of that KK is floating around? I've heard of Kansas. Not so much their weed. Are there poor farm boys running the KS/MO border with 50kilo bundles on their backs? Landrace means people racing across the land to get their drugs across.

No one here wants the KK, got no THC just CBD, its all war left overs from when every patriotic American grew hemp for rope. Been growing wild since then.
