I bought a big pack of Amazon cheap ones. All were off when I bought them but I grouped them to similar readings and used those. Now I'm cheap and lazy and have not replaced the batteries. Will be interesting to see what they read after they get back online. I have a feeling it's cheaper for me to get new ones vs. batteries.

I have found those to be accurate but also pricey compared to the cheap ones. I have also found if you use the Boveda packs they pretty much hold the RH exactly where they claim so I dont worry much

Not at all, I even did their challenge a couple of years ago to get a couple of small Cvaults. lol. To be honest I think you can raise and lower RH naturally and not use them. For me its simple peace of mind

I like the old method of drying low & slow, jarring and burping. I still burp jars though to age it properly often for some weeks as it's cold in my basement so it takes a bit longer than normal. I can pretty well guess when my buds are stable around the 60% mark prior to jarring but still use hygrometers in the jars just in case.
