should I use exhaust fan for drying (inside tent)

Hi everyone, I'm about cut my girls and start drying, in order to limit the smell as much as possible, I was going to cut them and dry them in my tent with the exhaust fan that goes to my carbon filter. Should I keep the fan on 100% of the time, or, should I set it on a timer to exhaust a few times per hour? I live in a pretty low humidity area so I want to dry them as slow as possible. I'm wondering if the exhaust fan will make them dry too fast. Any input appreiciated.

    thanks

I would use it 24/7 for the smell. I don't know about the humidity issue though. I think as long as u let it cure a couple weeks after drying all will be good.

The drying and curing is the most important part of growing Don't screw it up now by blowing a fan on your drying buds. Take your time and dry them normally. The only reason I use a fan is to circulate the air in my drying area so mold don't settle. Never aim the fan at your drying buds.

Yeah, im planning on not using a fan at all inside of the tent. Just my inline fan exhausting the air.

If you cut your entire plant at the base of the stem, trim all fan leafs only- and hang the plant intact- it will dry much slower (taking moisture from the stalk).
Then you can use the exhaust fan to control smell.
It's all bullshit - until you smoke it!

yeah I think I'll do something like that, maybee not the whole plant, but since I mainlined the plant, I could split it in 2 (4 tops on each half) and hang them like that (instead of hanging 8 tops only)
