HELP! Top buds Way to close to light

So i fucked up, didn’t stress test enough and did not start flower stage.

Now the buds are to close to the light, and are burning and may be a risk for setting it on fire (idk). Should I just cut the tall buds off and then lose it and let the plant focus on the buds below?

    any ideas please 🙏

I feel ya. Supercrop is about your only option. If the branches aren’t too woody and you can do it. Are the plants still in the stretch? If they’re in the stretch and already in the light your options are limited. Supercrop, bending and tying down can help as well. Beware if the plants are still stretching. They will still grow taller even if you super crop. I’m embarrassed to say that I had to cut down two beautiful sativa’s because they grew into the light, I super cropped and then They grew another 18”. They wanted to be 8’ tall. I’ll be trying that cultivar again. Good luck.

They look like stretch is close to being over. Those flowers are starting to develop and are getting fuller. If it were my grow, I would try and tie down the taller plants. The ones still well below the light I would leave alone. It's really not that bad. Mine didn't even get to start flowering before they were over the top of the light (GG#4). Learned my lesson.

Agreed. Thin them out and tie them down. Even very woody stems can be super cropped. Just gently massage the area you want to bend with some pliers until it softens. Be sure to pad the plier jaws so they do not damage the stem surface. The stretch seems about over to me as well. This crop is most certainly salvageable.

Agreed. Look into doing a ScrOG your next run. ScrOG's are good for max yield and height challenges.
