    HELP! Leaf pigment abnormality

Noticed this a couple of weeks ago.

The mosaic pattern on her leaves has spread a little. Mosaic is not the right word for it.

It looks like something has spilled on the leaves & washed the green pigment around. It seems to start on the leaf edge. Mostly effecting new growth but a tiny bit on old growth. It's effecting maybe a total of a dozen leaves around the plant so 1%. Pretty certain it is not light temp or air movement related. Rear of leaf looks normal.

If you know what it is or what causes this please let me know.

    Info

WW x SD grown from seed in coco. 4 to 5 weeks from the flip.

Yes. I saw that early on but wasn't sure. It is looking more like it now though. It is not effecting my other two plants at all.

I'm sure that my environment has stress in it but one of mine did that on a couple leaves when I grew it. Since you are king grower guy I would say it's genetics since we know the grower and you treat them with kindness. Mine only showed it at the end of the grow. I think it shows in some of the pictures I posted but not positive.

I am now going to start growing less plants since I'm grasping this more. That way I can have easier control over things.

Either way I have about 2 zips left and I'll miss it when it's gone.

Hey Bluey, I’m by no means an expert, but was watching a YouTube vid where something similar happened to a couple of his plants. All the plants that showed abnormal pigmentation were from the same seed bank. It ended up being just a cosmetic mutation and had zero effect on yield or quality. Hoping this best case scenario applies to yours also! But keep us posted, good luck.

I've seen this before.....or something very similar. For me it turned into a calcuim deficiency I believe. It could a mutation if nothing else is affected. I do notice some red on the stems but that could just be the blooming stretch and young stems being exposed to strong light

          Missed this thread.
That leaf discoloration is genetics. I have gotten it many times.
A nutrient issue would be more of the plant, not just what you described Bluey. WPM and other leaf-born surface diseases have different edges and do not start and stop at veins. Same-same with bugs. Bet nothing came of it.
