    Turning a new leaf

I must say my days of auto flower bashing are behind me. No longer do I see them as ‘tent fillers’ while vegging regular plants

Apple Fritter auto from ILGM, week 5 of flower

I like the way autos grow but frankly the ones I've brought to completion don't produce as much volume as photoperiods. Of course I've only done a limited number of them, so maybe it's a self-fulfilling dislike of the kind. But I never get those giant, dense as a rock sort of flowers like I do with their non-ruderalis cousins.

Yes that's one outstanding auto flower. I've seen lots of good reviews on the apple fritter strain it's another on my list.....will it ever stop?

I don’t think it will LOL I been happy growing the same 6 or 7 strains lately then a buddy brought a nug of this one back from vacation. Next thing I know I’m ordering it 😂

That's a fine looking plant no matter what type it is. I'd be all over growing autos regularly if I could produce something that nice. I'm thoroughly impressed.

Thanks! It’s not really a manifold. Lately on autos I just top above the 5th node then remove the 1st node and grow everything out as wide as possible. From there I just let the plant grow and remove anything that’s not up to par with everything else as it grows. Normally I wouldn’t have as many side branches but this plant’s different lol

Those boards make her spread out. It gets the light all the way through the canopy well. Harvest is going to be a buzz cuzz!!

Thanks! Believe it or not I’ve been fairly hands off with this one. When I first introduces the board it took about 20min to get her spread out and tied down. Other than some occasional adjustments I never messed with her again until I defoliated a couple weeks ago. I was worried I let too many growth sites go but the buds are starting to fill in
