    Well that's a little sad

I was planning on waiting another week to harvest this Chemdawg, since the trichomes are nice and frosty. Figured one more week to let them bulk up a little won't hurt. But then I found this...

I don't know if this is the result of poor genetics, or because I turned the light down from 100% to 80%. But this plant had been giving me problems from the very beginning. Didn't want to pop out of its shell - it took an additional two days just to get going. Then it was very small in stature, almost dwarfish. Didn't want to grow vertically at all. Internodal length was no more than a half inch which resulted in a very compact, stubby plant. I took off all the top buds but was amazed to find a very dense, lower layer. So, I'll just keep it going for now and hopefully another week or so will help these remaining flowers mature without any more nanners.

PS: I know my RH is a bit high. I had hoped to get this crop finished before the sweltering summer weather took hold, but I got a late start and didn't start germinating until early February. I think they'll be ok for just another few days and then they'll be chopped anyway and into the drying room.

If you are that close to harvest and there are no other plants in the room, I would just pick them off and finish the plant.
Don't worry, be happy, grow sticky buds.

Lots of other plants in the same room. Also, I debated letting the ChemDawg go by itself and create feminized seeds, but I figure if it's already showing signs of genetic corruption, I'd rather not propagate the line any further.

I'd pull the Nana's reduce air movement for a bit and keep it going. I could only see what looks like one late stage open Nana. If it's much worse than that maybe pull the plant but I'd try and save it.

Nah, there are several more on different buds. I've got so much weight in that room right now I'm not too particular about one plant. Like I posted I did leave the lower canopy to see what will happen, but I've got no patience for mutants. This coming weekend might be the final chop for all of them. I just wanted to get it all done in one swoop so I could use the tent as a drying room. Right now, I have buds hanging all over my bathroom like air fresheners, LOL!
