Well this old fart is his starting 2nd try ; Plant is 3 weeks old. using ph'ed ground water, basic potting soil, starting Fox Farm Big Gro 1/2 strength. 185w LED light at 30". Temp. 78*/ rh 35-40.I've read the tutorials. I'm thinking poor drainage, so before I transplant anymore I,m going to add perlite. Am I on the right path????????

    Just a couple of questions.

    What kind of potting soil?
What are the pots made of and their size?
Are you checking Ph last. After you have added nutes?

When I used plastic pots. I drilled a bunch of extra holes in the bottom to improve drainage. I have since switched to fabric pots/grow bags. And I'll never go back.

The leafs look almost to dark of green and maybe a little glossy. Typically this is a sign of to much nitrogen.

See what the others have to say.

I dont grow in soil much but it looks like that is getting a little to much N. When I do grow in soil I use Ocean Grown and I dont feed anything except some cal/mag until about 5 weeks in.

Your VPD is way too high for that stage of growth, bring down temps a bit and raise your humidity to at least 60% RH.

You are overfeeding her but that's a result of the VPD.

      Medium looks very wet.

Edit. Humidity under 40% at any stage of growth will make the plant extremely susceptible to pests and disease and its health will detiorate. I would only ever run humidity that low in the last 2 weeks of flower if the buds were so large I would make hero status here.

The N toxicity you are currently seeing is minor. It will slow growth.

If you can nurse them through as the plant increases in size it will increase RH in your grow space so things will improve if your plant keeps healthy.

Some basic things to increase humidity, dry your laundry washing on a clothes rack in your grow space/lung room. Keep a wet towel or 3 in there also.

All good tips, I heard wood ash from your fireplace is good for bringing RH down but I have not tried that yet

I looked up Sta Green potting soil. There are several types. All the ones I looked at, included fertilizer mixed in.

This can cause, you major problems. If you have the kind with fertilizer mixed in. I would tranplant to an organic soil.
