I am about to start a new grow and I have Fox Farm Nutrients. Last grow I used I used Fox Farm Bush Doctor Kelp Me during the veg stage with no other nutrients during the veg' time with fine results. During Flower I used Fox Farm Tiger Bloom with good results. I also have Fox Farm Grow Big for the Veg' stage. Is the Bush Doctor Kelp and the Grow Big intended to be used together or are they stand alone formulations? I thought that it would be too much to use both last time . Was I right? Thanks for any help.

What soil did you start out with the last time you used only Kelp Me? Was the soil fortified? The NPK for kelp me is very low. It looks more like micros then base NPK.
The tiger bloom probably got you through the phase your soil depleted but 2-8-4 is not what I would be feeding through flower.

I use 10:6:15 in veg and 1:1:2 in flower.
I also use silica mostly in veg and am now also adding a calmag suppliment with humic and fulvic acids as I struggled with this CalMag deficiency last grow. This suppliment is about 1:0:1Flower Room: 11' x 7' x 7.5'H, 480w AC, 13gal/day dehumidifier, 1.5gal ultrasonic humidifier, 60gal (27gal usable) nute tank, 16" pedestal fan & 18" wall fan. Lighting and climate automated. Hand watering.
Veg Cupboards: Two 4x2x6H cupboards. SF2000 Evo in one SF7000 in other. Climate controlled and automated. Hand watering
Aeroponics Low Pressure Bucket: 20W LED. 5 clones & 20W LED 11 clones
Lights: Mars Hydro FC-E1200W, SF-7000, SF-2000 evo in flower room.
Medium: Coco/perlite, 7.2gal pots, no drains
Current Grow: 5 x Photos Franklin's Orange Zkittles x Sour Diesel in flower room, 3 Franklin's White Widow x Sour Diesel Clones, 13 x Orange ZkittleZ x Sour Diesel clones in Aeroponics buckets x 2.

I don't know what your growing medium is so this may not apply. Yes, you can use them together. I suggest you start with the Fox Farm trio (big bloom, grow big, tiger bloom); the Kelp product is intended to supplement the trio. I use Fox Farm nutes and I grow in promix HP. I use the schedule below (except Bembe) for my photoperiod grows and have been happy with the results.
For autos I only use the trio at reduced dosages with cal-mag and microbe brew at normal dosages. Hope this helps.

the soil was Fox Farm Ocean Forest which is good soil. Once flowering started I dropped the Kelp me and started on Tiger Bloom for the duration. Thanks for the reply.Originally posted by Rootsruler View PostWhat soil did you start out with the last time you used only Kelp Me? Was the soil fortified? The NPK for kelp me is very low. Thanks. The soil was FF Ocean Forest which probably made up for not using the full range of nutrients. It's pretty good. This time I will be using Promix which I have found to be not great but it's all that is available here in the winter. I'll try using the full range of nutes from FF and see how it goes. Thanks everyone for the replies.Originally posted by Cougar672 View PostI don't know what your growing medium is so this may not apply. Yes, you can use them together.
