So I was feeding my plant to early… #RookieMistakes

So I feed the seedling 1.6 ec, 800 ppm, and was not aware it just needed pH balanced water. I upped the pH from 5.8 to 6.0 until I figure the pH thing by reading some articles on this page.

I decided to flush my plant until the runoff came around 600 ppm, 1.2 ec. The seedling was already a couple of weeks old and I was gonna get rid of her but decided to keep her. Im also germinating another candy bonez which will receive pH water until its 5 weeks old.

learning from my mistakes. Day by day looking to improve.

Don't give up. That looks like coco coir and perlite in those pots. Tell us about your grow medium. What kind of light are you using? What is your light schedule? Give us some info on your ventilation set up. What are you feeding your plants? 5 weeks of PH water for the other Candy Bonez, what does that mean? Are you planning to give only water for the first five weeks? You probably already know this, If you're germinating in coco it has no nutrients for your plants. You'll need to be ready to feed. I grow in coco. I use water only until the cotyledon leaves are fully opened. I start nutrients at 1/4 strength when the first set of regular leaves appear. Others will have varying opinions/practices. Can you put your pots on a riser and get them off of the floor? It's good that there is a pan to catch runoff but the pots need to be elevated just a little bit. A cold floor will make cold roots which makes a slow growing, perhaps even stunted plant. What temps and humidity are you trying to maintain?

Looks a little bit weak, maybe some airflow to strengthen the stems and possibly abit more light needed. I started seedlings in canna pro soil. At first I thought it was abit nutrient rich for seedlings but to be honest I’ve had strong healthy seedlings so far. I find the seedlings are not keen on too much heat from lights, as an example for you to bounce off I would run a 150w LED at 20% of its power until they have a few sets of true leaves, I’ll then crank it to 100percent. I’m a rookie too, they get hardy pretty quickly but easy does it at the germination early seedling stage, less is more so it seems…best of luck

Rookiegrower710 start a journal so that you have a reference for the next grows you do along with being able to ask questions and members can see how your plant progresses and give you better answers.

Thanks homie! A journal is actually what Imma do
A temp/humidity chart, feeding chart, and even a day tracker
