My female plant seems to be stretching during flowering…

So i’m growing a female cannabis plant that overgrew her tent… seems to be stretchinh for light… she is as tall as me.
    heres what im working with:
two 100 watt lights one from spider farmer, and one from vivo sun
im using regular soil in a 5 gallon fabric pot.
i’m waterint about 2 L of water with a nutrient solution containing the following; 1ml of silica gold, 2 ml of floragrow, 2ml of floramicro, 2ml of florabloom, 1 ml of cal-mag, and 2 ml of diamond nectar at a ec of 2.0 and ppm of 1000 and its pH is at 5.8

currently day 44 of flowering (week 6)

Yes it does stretch during the flowering stage. I think yours has stretch itself trying to reach your lights that seems to be very high in your grow room. If your light has been in this position the whole grow the plant has been stretching for a while now. You may have a strain like Hash plant or another that is tall no matter what. Just my 2 cents.

She started growing in a grow tent, got so big that she started to touch the lights so I moved the entire setup but the tent and exhaust and intake ducts.

Start bending those branches and tie them down. That’s what I would do...

    Check out this article...https://www.growweedeasy.com/help-ca...lants-too-tall

Super crop, bend and tie down. Careful that your stems are not too stiff and woody. Use duct tape if you break the stem. I had to do this my last grow.

Thank you for sharing this article. I will defintately look into it
Should I super crop all four stacks?

Understood about the reluctance to super crop. I cringe whenever I think about intentionally damaging my plants. If your plant stems are woody and stiff super cropping is more of a challenge, but it can still be done. I super cropped my last grow at about 18" from the top. The stems were the size of a #2 pencil or thicker and stiff. The plants were undeterred and wanted to be about 10' tall. I would only super crop what you think is the least amount you can get away with. Perhaps only the tallest stem but you may end up doing all of them. I'd start with trying to bend and tie down.

As others have said, supercrop or tie down somehow. You might be able to get it back in the tent with a scrog net depending on how much horizontal space you have available to spread the branches out.

You can probably drop the gro and up the bloom by 2ml at this point in flower. There's nitrate in the micro and cal-mag. Stretching aside, you don't seem to be overfeeding from what I can see. 5.8 seems a little low for soil but if it's working don't change it.

Do you know the strain you have? It looks sativa AF.

I’m afraid of super cropping her. Still a rookie, started growing on August but will look into supercropping or tie down the stems. I will do as you say on adding an additional 2ml of florabloom and will stop using flora grow. Should I keep her ar the same ec of 2.0 and ppm of 1000 at 5.8 pH? I just joined this forum in hopes of learning to become a bettwr grower each day, and improve on each grow.

The strain I bought did not label it as a sativa, but its Candy Bonez and her genetics are obama runtz x sherb cream pie the breeder is Bean Fiendz. My buddy who helped me with the recipe told me it also lools sativa af too lol

Here’s another suggestion. Raise that pot up three feet and Make it fit under that rack. Bend it , whatever it takes to make it fit, BUT only if that rack is far enough from the light. The whole plant will benefit from being closer and cannabis is a tough plant, it will bounce back. Looks healthy enough to be roughed up a bit. Good luck

I'm still working on my first solo indoor grow, but I have some previous background experience working for other growers. So I get the reluctance to super crop as a rookie. I would be too.

Maybe just try testing her flexibility a little and think about it. You can do a simpler tie down without super cropping.

The 1:2 ratio of micro:bloom is not my idea, it's called the Lucas formula. It makes a final NPK ratio of 5:10:10

The general consensus is to increase phosphate and potassium levels during flower. I'm slowly doing it right now for my plants, but I am stumbling in the dark a little bit myself.

The ppm for an equal volume of any of the three in the flora series should be similar. I don't have an EC or ppm meter so I have to go off calculated values. I made a spreadsheet a while ago. Basically you can just swap them out. Try it out in a liter or two and measure it (assuming you can). I say stick with the pH, ppm and EC you have been using.

Micro is 11.2%, Bloom is 11.8%, Gro is 9.5% (according the labels)

Remember we are all learning, just at different levels. Take my advice with a grain of salt, I am by no means an expert. I'm mostly curating knowledge from sources I perceive as reliable, like the GWE website. Definitely use that to your advantage, it's a great resource.

If it was mine i'd cut her in half not kidding. Until you get the hang of training i'd still cut her in half and tie down the branches LST at the very least. You will not kill it. If she is a sativa she's gonna get taller without training all MJ grows into a tree. But you want that light to hit center of the plant you gotta open it up. She can go long past 90days.

I'm curious why you would have two lights for that one plant. Either one directly above is plenty. Your just wasting electricity, in my opinion. FYI, I bend / break branches, duct tape them, these plants are amazing, almost impossible to kill, lol.

My first ever indoor grow was in 1997, I was 17 years old, living with mom at home. The plant was in my closet upstairs under a 70 watt HPS. One evening I came home and found my mom had went upstairs into my room and found it. It looked like a tornado hit my room, she was soooo pissed off. Soil and fan leaves everywhere, both main branches snapped at parallel angles, bent completely backwards. Just absolutely wrecked.

Drove it to a friend's house that same night, desperate for help. We used popsicle sticks and first aid bandages to make splints, and within a week she had formed the most amazing scar tissue around the breaks. The broken parts ended up being stronger than the rest of the stem. We flowered her to finish after she recovered.

They can take a beating, literally. Don't be afraid.
