    Spider mites

High friends I am new to this forum. I am desperate to get advice on how to kill spider mites. I have four huge plants, just a few weeks away from harvest time. I discovered I have spider mites. I have drenched my plants from top to soil with water and alcohol 3 times. I put strong fans on them afterwards to dry them fast so my buds won't mold. Each time I do this once the lights turn off. I leave to fans on overnight. The next morning I use the microscope to look at the smaller buds and the leaves. Each time I see more and more dead mites but also still live ones eating away at my plants. If anyone has had experience with this please share. I will not give up on my plants. I know I will have to harvest sooner than I really want to, but I started the flushing and I need one more week. Help please, I am so desperate. My plants are indoor and to the ceiling.

Your not finding all their hiding places, the alcohol is a contact killer so you must get it on them. Include the floor, the walls, the soil everydamnthing. I have also went stronger than 1 (ISO) to 8 (water) ratio. Spray the under side first then the top side and soak them good. Fans on lights off, maybe after a few minutes give the buds a shake to help them dry.
Good luck the borg are hard to get rid of.

With most pests, but especially mites, you need to wet down every available surface of the plant. Top, bottom, side to side. You want it so that solution is dripping off the leaves. Underside is especially important.

Alternate between the two. Never failed me.

Azamax can be sprayed on to fruit and flowers the day of harvest. Not sure I'd do it that close but if you have some time before harvest you may want to look at that.

APPLICATION METHODS - Apply AzaMax® as directed to any food or non-food crop up to and including the day of harvest, at a maximum rate of 1.33 fl. oz. per 1,000 sq. ft. per application.

        AzaMax™ – General Hydroponics

This is just a highly processed neem oil, I would not use it on flowers to be smoked.

Look on the bright side. Your weed will pop and crackle when you smoke it. Quite festive. Sorry for your loss.

They are a pain to get rid of, as mentioned alcohol will kill them off but as with any liquid you will need to add a surfactant to break the surface tension of the liquid, I drop of soap will work well and not contaminate the harvest, however what works the best is Kodak Photo-Flo or a equivalent there of, they are unscented and cause anything what is water based or soluble to spread out evenly.

          Photo-Flo

          A generic.
