    My spider mite solution(?)

If any y'all did not see my spider mite issue in my Driving Miss Bessie thread, here it is.
I did a little research on heat to get rid of SM's with heat. That was a big no-go. I would pretty much have to burn the plants. Then I got to looking around and realized a lack of circulation even with four fans up top.
Well, I found them on Sunday, yeah? Well, I spent a little time defoliating and swiping leaves between fingers to swipe leaves I did not want to remove. Then I put a couple Hurricane fans at soil level, aimed at the back plants where I found the SM's and I have not seen any more SM's on any plants.
Either I got lucky and caught it before it got too bad or the fans make for a bad SM environment.
I'll keep looking but am cautiously hopeful I will not find any more.

I am not down with spraying anything that leaves residue on my buds.
In the past I have used vinegar with good results. No residual taste.

I'm so glad you did'nt toss this grow. I know they are bad or creepy to have. But in all honesty i've probley smoked them and dried up other minute pests since i began smoking weed in early 70's. And you all thought that " pop " sound burnt was a seed LOL nope not always.

Gingerbeard, I hate to tell you this, but I'm pretty sure those are Aphids, not Spider mites. You can't see Spider mites with the naked eye.

How is Dabber a boy's name? Have you ever heard of a boy or girl named Dabber? Don't put your sex on my dog! It's not like Terry or Jerry or Chris, et al. Go have a Snickers. Go have a beer from the newest microbrew in the country.

This thread has got me wondering if several praying mantis might take care of a small aphid problem. It can work in the garden maybe in the tent too. They are sometimes available at nurseries.

I wonder if geckos might go well in a tent. I cant see how they would hurt any

I had a T. gecko in the army until my top found it in an inspection. He jumped back and told me to get rid of the 'monster.'
