is this normal for the leaves to be like this after they take root?

There are no serrated edges on these leaves. This was a branch that had a bud on it and I took a cutting as the others died and need to get better at cloning.

Your plant is okie dokie. This is a natural response to being cloned while flowering, and it shold start growing normal leaves soon. Here's an article about the possible benefits of cloning from flowering cannabis.

Monster cropping involves taking clones from flowering cannabis plants to encourage heavy branching, high yields, and continuous harvests. Here's how to do it!

Whenever you take a clone in flower- you will have some very strange and varied leaf structures, as it reverts to veg.
Personally, the best 2 clones I every had was from a budded clone- yield were more and it seemed to be passed along to future grows.
It's so noticeable- I have made a mother from monster cropping-
Congrats as these types of clones are much harder to get roots started, but once they do- the plant is bushy.
It's all bullshit - until you smoke it!

sweet. thanks for the info. yeah took forever to get roots going and seem to be taking off a little bit better. I like bushy plants.

I once re-vegged a plant, and the leaves stayed singlet and trifoliate for the entire grow. No issues with flower production though. Good yield!

I prefer to take clones the 1st and second week of flower cause the root system is adjusting and strong at that point, i usually get roots in less than 7 days that way and the yeilds always surpass the parents! Keep cloning its fun and doesn't waste much time if you need to toss any.
      Perpetual setup!

Yeah...kinda having a tough time it seems with cloning. Just have to keep trying till I get it. a plant is not going to kick my ass. That makes total sense the 1st or 2nd week to take clones while in bloom. I will try that on the next two i'm going to be running.
