Hey what's up guys got my second grow going I have three autoflower bubblegums. And They are in around the Thrid week of flower. I have a 4x4 and initially started with two 300 watt led from platinum led I calculated wrong and noticed I am short light for that size tent so I got a 600 watt hid and decided to use the led to supplement on the side of the plants. But now as I figured but not to the extreme that it is I have heat isssue prior to the hid install I ran a space heater to maintain a temp of 80ish° So with the hid I got as high as 100° according to a accutemp which is placed at the soil level of the plants I also have temp controller that reads about 77-81° Which is about 7 inches from canopy and the light is about 15-20 inches from canopy. I'm worried that I am doing more harm than good with the hid and should have just gotten two more 300 and just lined the ceiling with them also I'm unsure on humidity the tent large compared to the humidifers I have and I only really get it to 40 range. I would appreciate any input from experience my goal is to grow some dense potent buds thanks guys

Can't help with your leaf issue's so I'd take a good look at the tutorials on plant health and remedies here on GWE. Lots of good information and photos that should help. Far as the mixed lighting goes I've only used LED's. But have switched to use only the flowering spectrum on one of three lights_also Platinum 300 watt (continued to use both spectrums on the other two lights). From three grows with the Platinum 300's I always found that if I got the lights closer than 24" then I'd get light burn...so I'd make sure to keep them at least that far away, especially if they are on the sides to add fill light for deeper penetration than you'd get with the HID above. Maybe try using the LED's with both spectrums and then switch them to the flowering spectrum only_ that way you'll add more red light. Also if you use only the red spectrum lights they aren't near as bright so you can get them closer without burning. I just changed over from the Platinum to another brand that fits my space better and uses less electricity and provides better PPFD over the entire area in my grow room. But it took a few weeks to get used to them_ to find their sweet point. Hope that helps and regardless hope your grow is a great one!Current grow_ coco based medium, Fluence LED lights, AIT, 5 gallon planters,

Thanks zigzag u used the 300's? How was the overall yield I got them cuz the par output but when I realized that there was only enough light when the veg button on and once the bloom added I lost coverage so the 3 ladies in 5gal pots were partial in getting light I feel that the one 300 is only good for one plant?
