    Caterpillars

Can I use BT caterpillar spray on BUDS? The darn things attack and eat the buds. Is it too late to spray buds?

    #2
I do not spray BT in the mid to late part of bud formation. I just did a walk around my 7 plants and found 2 buds with slight damage. I myself just search an pick them out. i do look deeply all over each plant. I got the time to spend on them. I'm unsure of using any pestisides even organic on my nearly finished grow. I don't do bud washes after harvest. If i had a loosing plant which i don't and won't tolerate i'd just chop out as much of the damaged plant an make butter out of it. I'm so crazy about looking for them it's now the time they really start showing up. I have used a soapy spray earlier and ISO mixed in water sprayer but don't now.

At this stage I would suggest a hard spray down with the hose or, if you have one, a blower to knock off the caterpillars. Ya might have to just get in there and pick them off one at a time.
