I have so many seeds now.....I remember 3 years ago my problem was no money and no seeds growing bag seeds and hoping for miracles in miracles gro lololol. How times have changed.

A friend of mine made a deal with one of the local bakeries to let him use their facility at night, rented of course, and he started a luxury cookie line. He's been doing it for a couple years now and has just opened a storefront.

Self employed maybe? During COVID, I found out I'm an amazing baker and started baking. I don't want a storefront but my apartment isn't big enough to take on more orders than I currently do. I really don't want to work in construction anymore. The chemicals and fumes.... I'm already dealing with liver cancer..... Maybe get some land and grow pine trees or something IDK.... I'm okay financially for a little bit maybe it'll give me time to figure stuff out

She was so root bound in expecting in the next 15 days for her to take a complete 180 and bounce back in the earth box.
One of the leaves from the Mandarin. Just massive2 Photos

Almost forgot, I trimmed the purple punch the other day. 5.2oz the whole plant. Out of that I got 3oz of flower. This time I did something different. I used a Grove bag to cure my flower..... And just wow!!!! I never had steady humidity like this before. You look at the line before it went into the Grove bag when it was drying. Then it goes into the bag and it's just stable! I'm genuinely impressed. I spent money buying 3 CVaults and I don't like them. I'm loving this set it and forget it with the bags. I even tossed a hygrometer in there so I can see what it's doing.
After trimming, I kept walking back into the room because it just smelled so damn good. Like fruit punch or like some purple synthetic drink that's almost like grapes. This stuff is going to be great. Too bad I screwed up on the call mag with the Coco I could have had double the amount.
The Bruce banner is a month and a half into cure and getting better and better. I've been sampling after one month. The gorilla glue is 2 months into cure and it looks like crap, it doesn't smell great or taste great but that high...... Woah! Who would have thought something that went so wrong would come out having such a good high???
That's why now, no matter how bad I think it's going or how bad or good it's actually going, I'm going to follow through on everything. It's only going to keep on getting better.
Oh the metal bowl was 231g so I ended up with a total of 84g.6 Photos

So first update...I got laid off from my job. I came in Wednesday and they had already let 4 ppl go... I was the 5th. So no more excuses about things going wrong.
First the tangie and the blue dream(s). Now that I have the proper cal-mag without the extra nitrogen, things are going very well. Day 48. 20 days into bloom
The Tangie still has very thin stems but the flowers in those stems.... Just wow! She's already starting to pick up that orange fuel kind of smell. The trichomes that she's dropping on the leaves is crazy. On one of the leaves it's almost a millimeter tall
The blue dream on the other hand is growing these massive flowers. Her 10 day older sister is putting on the smells. A nice sweet berry kind of smell. Both blue dreams are doing well. The one in the Coco and the one in the soil. I think I was just always under feeding the calcium. Now I front load with 5 different calciums and I foliar spray some cal mag once a week during veg and they've been doing well.. it's week 3 of bloom and I'm not noticing any signs of deficiencies . They are just stacking on the flowers, praying for light.
My father's cutting is really the surprise guest. She's stacking some really nice fat flowers. For a tiny 2 gallon bucket, she's really doing nicely. Probably going to be a late bloomer just by the way the flowers look..... But man look at those orange hairs and frost.
That's why I planted the clone I took off it before bloom and planted it with the white widow CBD in the second earth box.
Then we have the Mandarin and the UG . I got the trellis up and I pulled some big fan leaves because they were blocking all the lower branches. Those leaves are absolutely ginormous!! Some really nice looking leaves. I have them some castings tea today. I hope I'm the next 15 days I can get at least a quarter to half that net full because in 15 days I'm flipping everyone to 12/12 lighting.
Autos photos it doesn't matter in 15 days just going to flip to 12/12 . I'll have to adjust the lights so that they get their DLI with the 12 hours of light. The tangie and blue dream should be ready at the end of November, early December. My dad's plant will be maybe middle of December. The rest of the stuff I guess in January.

The whole leaf structure is amazing on these. Just blown away by the performance. Just going to double down on then earth boxes. I have space for 4 big plants and I'll get that with the 2 boxes. With the least amount of work. The only big project is building the whole soil and letting it sit for like a week but then once you plant it's a water only system. I gave the buckets a good go. They did okay but nothing to run home about. It all came down to the size. I needed say least a 7.5 gallon but preferably a 10 gallon. The living soil method should really work with this earth box well and no worries about over watering. It will always have the right amount of water that it needs to function by wicking. Keeps the microbes happy and the plants happy. Once during veg I'll make a tea and once during flower I'll make a tea and that will be the only extra feed. Should hopefully be smooth sailing from this point on.
And that perfectly executed FIM. I bet I'll get 4 branches no problem with that. Def like to FIM over topping since you can get 4 branches in half the time and since I like to SCRoG, it works out really well in filling that net quickly.7 Photos

So far so good. The blue dream and tangie are on day 14 of bloom. Day 45 in total. Nice flowers everywhere especially the blue dream. The tangie has such delicate stems and stalk while the blue dream is as hard as a tree trunk I accidently topped it while trying to bend it.
The other blue dream is on day 25 of bloom. This is the one control in the fox farm soil loaded with Dolomite lime. It's doing okay but looks like there's some excess of some nutrients.
The earth box is doing so well that I decided to get another one and I'm going to plant the White Widow CBD and the cutting of my dad's plant that I have.... It's so root bound and I didn't know what to do with it so I'm just going to plant it together with the CBD. Veg for like 3 weeks and put into bloom. I don't want giants but I don't want to throw the clone away either.
As for the UG and Mandarin, I have to put together a trellis so that I can start winding them soon. It's day 23 for them. I'm probably going to veg them for a month and a half before I flip. Mostly to give some time for the CBD one to grow up a bit. I FIM'd the UG and Mandarin so they're starting to branch out. Those leaves on the Mandarin..... Man they look like circular saw blades. Some really nice structure on there. The Coots soil recipe is pretty simple and pretty effective. Maybe I'll get some worms for the earth boxes as well.. Get a whole system going in there because I have nothing to do. Watering is a nothing task and all the nutrients are in the soil so it's water only once a week and the earth box does it's thing. Perfect for me since sometimes I'm in the hospital and away for long periods. This might be the best way for me.

I hope it's going to be good. It's a cross between a bunch of different cultivars. Some cherry in there some orange in there... All flavors that I like. Hard to tell when the Ethos website only has a sentence on what to expect...... And even worse it's a Multipack..... So you don't even know which cross they're explaining.

I swear I don't even know when this happened π±π±1 Photo

My experience exactly using my own soil. I know mass has a lot to do with composting (in that you need mass for heat and proper composting) and it may well also be important for growing weed and healthy soil.
