      Day 25 veg

Update- All photos, blueberry cheese, RP 1O4, have been topped, trimmed and on their way to manifolding. The autos (on left) have been topped, one is is LST, the others I may torture some other way in the future. I want to see what I have to work with before I bend them over. The big fan leaves have been tucked under so the shoots are getting as much light as possible.

The grow room at my place is post harvest/dry so it's a disgrace. Needs a lot of work cleaning but also needs a redesign and some work to keep the critters out of the walls and ceiling. AirCon upgrade coming too. I have time. Almost 60oz in jars 😍
          Grow Room: 11' x 7' x 7.5'H, 480w AC, 13gal/day dehumidifier, 1.5gal ultrasonic humidifier, 60gal (27gal usable) nute tank, 20" & 16" pedestal fans & 18" wall fan. Lighting, fertigation and climate automated
          Lights: 2 x SF-7000, 5 x 30w 660&730nm supp. red boosters, 4 x 80w 5000K corner fills
Medium: Coco 100%, 13gal pots, drain to waste
Current Grow: 4 x photos, old school, 66 days of veg flipped 25 Feb harvested day 65F 3lb11oz.
Previous Grow: Lots of big dead mouldy buds, medium and small buds made it, barely. Primarily indica traits. Cured in glass jars.

              Day 35 veg

The scarlet autos are in stretch and taking over. Here is the last pix of the starter tent before it gets broken up.

Breaking up is hard to do... So much work in one day. The RP-1O4 have had their torture rings fixed in place, the two main shoots on each plant have been roughed up, squeezed and bent back and forth until the stem is soft and floppy. Then a wire is attached to each stem, the stem is pulled out toward the side and attached to the ring. As the main stems and side stems grow, they also will be pulled outward to the ring.

And the Scarlets got a new home in the veg tent after they too were tortured, bent over and tied down. I have taken to using binder clips on the edge of the pot and using that as an anchor for tying branches down and to the side.

A 4x4 tray is measured on the working surface. Need to add about 4" on each side for the rim. A 4x4 tray needs a 5x5 tent. A 3x3 needs a 4x4 tent.

I have a 3x3 tent and use a drip tray made for clothes washers. Exterior dimensions are 31 in x 35 in, and is 1.64 in deep. Not as deep or sturdy as the flood tray, but only cost $35 with free shipping from home depot. It works great for me. Next grow I'll be putting something small under the backside so all the runoff will flow to the front.

Notice how in just 20 hours they have perked up and angled their leaves to the light. In a few days more wires will be tied to them to make them comply to what I want them to do. No mercy.

There are a lot of large "drip pans" on the market in different sizes and of different materials. I use a 30x30" inch vinyl pan used for ac units and water heaters. Cost about $40 and it came UPS. They also come in steel and aluminum.
