    best light for growing

you now have LED'S, CFL's, Plasma, Induction, T-5's, HPS, and MH - can be really confusing - What do you think is the best type of lighting? Guess it comes down to cost of light and cost of running

I ran cfl's for a while, got some 4 ft. tubes after that, but had too much stretch because I couldn't adjust height easily. I'm currently running a cob led for veg and led panels for flower. The cob led is delivering the same lumens to the leaves at twice the distance of my flat led panels. If I wasn't set on CMH for my next upgrade I would get more cob led's.

Consider your growing area. because that is where you need to control the temperature. Your choice of light will have a very big impact on your temps.

what I have learned so far:
      environment maters more than nutrients
at least a dab of nutrients in every watering
effective flushing before harvest is critical to quality

yea - very high heat causes small buds along with other heat issues
