    storing seeds

what the best way to store seeds

    #2
Airtight container in a cool, dark, dry place. The refrigerator works well and if you're going to store them for over a year, the freezer is good for that.

Wherever you store them, keep them away from things that will make them think it's time to germinate, ie. warmth, light, and moisture.

I keep mine inside an airtight container with some rice to absorb any moisture in my fridge. I have seeds a couple years old that pop. Except Chocolope, that strain is my nemesis 😂

brown the rice in a pan first...apparently it will adsorb more moisture this way. I keep rice with my seeds too...Same applies to pollen.

I keep mine in a drawer in the grow room. The seeds stay in whatever container they came in. Has worked for me for a few years. No issues. Cool dark place is the most common answer...there's some info about seed storage over at the GWE site as well.
