This girl is about 3/4 the way through her 7th week of flower. She's got some burnt tips on the leaves which I've been chocking up to nutrient burn (I'm a new grower); but today I saw a picture in a High Times article exhibiting the same thing and it was supposed to be some premo top shelf grown stuff. Is this just a thing that happens in late flower, or did we both burn the leaves?

Yeah you have a touch of nute burn. Check your PH in and out and add some cal mag. They show some generalized deficiencies that relate to the ability of the plant to move nutrients, not necessarily a lack of nutrients.Current Grow: 1 GG4, 2 Hot Cakes, 1 Sweet Gelato Autos
3 gallon cloth pots

Coco Pearlite mix

Also be aware that cannabis dies at the end of blooming so leaves turning yellow/orange/dying is a perfectly natural part of the plant life cycle at the stage of growth you mention. A little bit of tip burn from nutrients isn't a bad thing, it just shows that you're pushing them right to the edge of what they can handle. Don't forget that if you're using synthetic nutrients to plan for flushing your grow medium in the last week or two and you're going to be having a great harvest - your plants and buds look great!Organic indoor grower - 4x4 tent - 2 Electric Sky 180v3s
Relax, don't worry, less is more...usually!

Thanks all for the kind words and advice, definitely helpful!
Usually I check PH in and out every watering, but since I did a large defoliation at the beginning of flower she wasn't drinking a lot from her 10 gal fabric pot so I dialed back how much I was watering and it's not enough to get runoff right now. Overall she still looks happy and is trucking along, so I'm not overly worried about it at the moment.
I am using synthetic nutes, so yeah I'll be flushing in the next week or so with added molasses hoping to thicken up those buds!
[Edit add picture and below info]
For those wondering this is the setup:
Custom wood grow tent (4'x2'x6')
Custom LED Lighting (I think around 100ish watts)
Dynagro foliage pro + CalMag for veg
Dynagro bloom + CalMag for flower
GH up/down for PH control
Tap water
This is setup in my basement which is below ground and stays cool year round which is why you see a small heater in the picture. Ignore the messed up leaves on the bottom right, power went out one day and the heater went crazy when it came back on and burned her quite badly.Last edited by NotAFarmer; 03-29-2023, 01:51 PM.
