    Roots

Would adding root tone into my soil give me more and better roots ?

    #2
To be honest, I have no idea what that product is. However, I personally believe that most of these additives are useless to properly maintained plants. They are however very useful to the manufacturers bank account. If your plant is growing in good medium with proper watering,, nutrients and PH, you will have no need for this junk,
Current Grow: 1 GG4, 2 Hot Cakes, 1 Sweet Gelato Autos
    3 gallon cloth pots
    30"x30"x60" tent
    Spider Farmer SE3000
    Coco Pearlite mix
    GH Trio, Silica, Cal-Mag

It's a rooting hormone and is meant for cuttings or transplants where you can get the powder directly on the plant tissue.

Okay. I do not believe that adding it to the soil would be efficacious.

If you want stronger better roots, do like OldManGrower says...manage the environment (temperature, humidity, ventilation, circulation, water, and lighting) and you'll be well on your way. If you're growing organically, you could add some mycorrhizal fungi but that's more of roots and fungi working together as opposed to growing longer/stronger roots. Take care of the soil/plant and the roots will do just fine :-)

            Good questions! Stay curious!

I use something similar but only when I put seedlings or transplant them into final pots. It will offer no benefit to growing plants

Look into a product called "Voodoo Juice", I think it would be far better than rooting hormones.
