Taking leaves off an automatic bloomer

My first grow using an automatic bloomer and I love them for being so fast. Just a fun plant to play with.

I wanted to show what so many people keep trying to call defoliation the difference is I'm not taking all the leaves off the plant. When you open the plant so more bud sites get light if a fan leaf is blocking that little bud site take it out and watch it take off.

I'm up for giving it a better name it's part of training and you get more buds using this technique. This plant just got a week 5 feeding and is happy except at night a little cold.

Please help name this technique besides the dreaded D word!!!

Just call it what it is-pruning.
Seems to be the topic of the day. I'm right in the middle of my grow, about 3 weeks into flower and they're bulking like crazy. Learned last year that it will turn into a solid mass of buddage if it isn't pruned back-especially on those interior branches. Added benefit when done right-you get some really fat budsicles...
