    Old Beginner

Hey all, I know next to nothing about growing or selling product. I am in my mid-60s and need a source of income to supplement my retirement. I know it isn't a new idea, but I own my own property and was thinking and researching a way to help my household. Has anyone else turned to this type of farming for the same reason or am I about to make a huge mistake?

    Step 1: Have lawyer money.
    Step 2: Hire a lawyer.
Step 3. Have startup money: seeds, soil, nutes, cover as necessary.
Step 4: Spend more money than you have just spent.
GWEezers don't grow commercial. None will admit to selling. If you have never grown, starting with a few plants will help you learn how to grow.

Thank you for that well thought out advice. I am not trying to be a grower per se. Hopefully 2-3 plants .I

It takes truck loads of money to set up a grow for sales, money for the license, money for the insurance, money for the law dog, money for this that and the other. And no guarantees you will make money, some have lost their ass. IF you are in my state, they are already looking for you.

I am not altruistic but I do want to help them as well as be able to take care of life necessities like well.. Food and power. Thank you for your honest

I almost have all the things I am supposed to have. 2-3 plants at a time. Good thing I checked about Miracle-Gro, the little fellas wouldn't have had a chance. It is more complicated than expected. I just thought " its a weed". Not so much. I just qant to live above the barely getting by level.

Check out the auto pot system. It’s easy and not expensive. No moving parts. You could grow 4 plants very easily in a 4x4 tent. I live in a dispo state. I got to know a person that owns one. She told me they grow their own in a spare bedroom. The point being it’s not overly difficult to grow and produce what you’re thinking about.

I understand your need and desire. Research seeds that allegedly have medicinal qualities. Seed Supreme has a number of strains that have both High CBD and High THC. I did not see where you stated your growing conditions so I cannot recommend anything specific. I do a similar thing. It's fun, helps others but is not particularly lucrative.

I have looked at so many different seed types and found a site called ILGM that lists the amount of both thc and cbd supposedly produced by the strain or seed. I have never smoked it or never thought about it as an income, but life changes and you have to think outside the box sometimes. I will be growing inside with a tent. I don't expect to become rich from it, but hopefully I can share with a few friends with issues and make enough to continue growing. I was going for 2 to 3 plants at the most. I chose an auto flowering seed for my first attempt. Thank you for replying to my post.

I have used their seeds since about 2017. No complaints.
