Those past two weeks were probably long for you but your trichs have grown, swollen, filled in, those pics look beautiful. The vegetation looks healthy still, wait some more. You might be harvesting between the two holidays, they're creeping up fast. I'd hate to see you spend them in trim jail.
Soil: Coast of Maine Stonington Blend, perlite; Seedlings: CoM org potting soil
    Indoor: 2 x 5.5 x 8' Closet grow
Viparspectra XS2000; EnjoYield 220W full spectrum light added during flower
    Various size fabric grow bags
Cal-Mag & GH Trio if needed; Flower Fuel & molasses during bloom; ReCharge
4 clip fans. Exhaust into attic is vented to the eaves
    Current grow: DEAD FLOWERS

Kudos on patience!. It is always easy to preach it, like many toehr things in person tough. I was kinda chuckling through the post- but now i am in the same boat and already feeling the scissor sirens calling me.
A happy Canuk. this grow will be using Flora Flex nutrients in coco/perlite. 9 plants in 3 by 3 tent and 8 plants in 2 by 4, in 1 or 2 gallon pots (whatevere is there). manual fertigation planned. veg till around 1 ft high. 2 by 4 tent light is Bloom Plus 2500 and 3 by 3 tent has Mar Hydro Ts3000, both of which seem awesome.

I haven't being doing this long enough (this will really only be my second harvest) to really dislike trim jail just yet. The first harvest was only two plants, photos. I didn't do any kind of lower budsite removal, and I didn't want to waste anything (first harvest! lol) so I trimmed everything, up to the smallest fluffiest bud. I started at 12:00AM, and when I finished it was magically 4:30AM; luckily I had the tablet playing some movies/shows. I tend to get really involved in things, even if they are mundane; this can be a bad thing as I get the "can't stop until I finish" mentality and go into an auto mode. Based on my time with two plants that weren't grown on point (not very good producers), 4+ plants that produced... looking at 8-10 hours? Ouch!

I can understand how people with substantial harvests, or hand issues, can get tired of it real quick.

Regarding waiting a bit more, will do. I will take pictures of the full plants so you all can see the vegetation. While the sugar leaves are definitely green, all other leaves have been browning and falling off; the Zkittlez leaves are more so.... purpling/blackening, but comparable to browning (dry to touch, crumbling, falling off). What's interesting is new calyxes are forming on some of Zkittlez colas, which I've only identified because they are as green as the older ones were when the plant first started budding.

I picked all those dead leaves off before I chopped any tops to trim. Sounds like some final push happening maybe. I hear bud spinners make nice Christmas gifts. My first trim jail might have been just bad enough to make the next not so dreadful. Sounds like you have to plan around your upcoming schedule, with holidays, they're on a weekend.

When I was a seamstress I'd stay up all night to finish a creation, I get that.

If the dates on the pictures are correct, they should be ready by now.

lmao! I went back to look at the dates, not realizing there were dates on the pictures, and yeah... if that were the case, I'd say I missed the window!

Panic mode, this is a calyx ovule correct!? lol. Been looking out for nanners, just in case. My first test grow (bag seed) had one plant hermie (my fault, way over defoliated during flower), so I am trying to be vigilant. I'm hoping it is an older calyx that decided to open.

I also included the two plants. You can see where I accidently broke off the main top of the Zkittlez, lol. Weirdly enough, the cola goes almost all the way down the main stem ending a few inches above the soil.

Another update, 5 days later. It looks like some trichome heads have started to burst (or fall off?) -- It will be nine weeks this upcoming Thursday. What would you personally do in my situation? I do have the patience to wait longer, (that's for Pug, lol). My only fear is that my lack of experience will make me push them too far, and hermies. That is why I am posting so many updates! Hoping not to annoy everyone, lol.

          2-9 Wedding Cake
10-31 Zkittlez (new calyx growth is popping up on some buds--last ditch effort to get seeded?)

Deleted a lot of pictures so I wouldn't post too many, lol.

Andonstar AD203 Handheld Digital Microscope, around $76 on Amazon (multiple brands of similar products, I just happened to try this one first). It's a bit pricier than a jewelers loop, but I wanted to ensure I had a tool that would leave no doubt when identifying optimum harvest. I figure it should last a while if I take care of it, and the amount of use it will get should ensure I get the value back; plus, it's perfect for situations such as this, asking for others input.

            Thanks btw!

I wish I knew how they come up with that 200x magnification spec.

With my first harvest, the wait was like 10-12 weeks (they were bag seed photos of unknown origin). That said, with that first grow I never saw the final push growth (I was wondering why new calyx were growing so close to chop), clear trichome stalks with amber heads, and trichomes without heads. Those other plants also didn't have anywhere near as many trichomes; even now, Zkittlez has much more trichomes than Wedding Cake.

No two grows will be the same? lol. I know there are a lot of variables, one of the bigger ones being genetics, but it is awesome to see.

You're getting closer every day .... Up to you and your schedule and desired % of amber to clear. You have some beautiful frost there, some shots more amber, some mostly clear, nice rusty curly pistils. I know I'd still give it a bit but there's a holiday weekend ahead for you.

I'm under a blizzard warning and possible -50F wind chill, those are oil making days here. The Everclear and some decarb in jars have been in the freezer for a while, waiting to throw them in a below zero snowbank on my deck. Make cannacocobutter, pretend I'm making soup for the cold weather. Regain freezer space. That's my Christmas this year ... now watch the power go out next.
