HELP! Plant stopped growing , leaves drooping

Hi, this is my first time growing. I live in Sri Lanka so I can't get everything supplies wise but I'm trying to do the best with what I have. Got this plant 3 weeks ago from a friend, it was cloned and he gave in a pot filled with coco fibre.

I feed her a nitro mix 30 : 10 : 10 + TE once every 7 days. I water every 3 days or so. The only thing is Im not checking are the PH levels, I ordered some paper to test the PH levels, it'll arrive this week.

I give it light for 14 hours and dark for 10 hours. Its a normal led light bulb that I use for light because it's raining these days so I can't keep it outside. But I fear there might be light leaks in the room, should I cover it up with a garbage bag?

I noticed this problem a week ago, the leaves stopped being perky and alive. They started to droop more and more. I feel like the plant is dying, can this be recovered? The plant hasn't grown at all this week.

Well you got a clone in flower which is twice the time and effort of growing from seed. Too much writing for me to help you understand how wrong this grow is. That light would be OK for sprouting an seedling but no way near what you need to grow decent weed. Recovery would mean changing everything your doing and leaving that light on 24hrs a day for weeks and weeks. Sorry i got nothing but to give but to say read and try again with a seed.

Good for you even getting started! The longest journey starts with the first step!

It does seem like it's one of those situations where you take what you've learned and start over. I know you mentioned that it's difficult to get proper equipment in Sri Lanka so you're going to have to get creative. Not knowing what your resources are or what the laws are there I don't know what's available. However, one of, if not THE most important piece of equipment in your grow setup is your light. Stick with a reputable LED (GWE has several very good articles where they review multiple LEDs very thoroughly). The LED will give you a full spectrum (or at least a better one) and they use less electricity and create less heat which will help you stay under the radar if you need to be discreet.

You also need something to keep it completely dark during lights out periods. Get a tent - any grow tent will do, doesn't have to be expensive. Can't get a tent, use a closet or a cupboard. There are several tutorials you can find online about how to make one and how to ensure there are no light leaks.

While cannabis certainly grows without any special equipment, if you're looking to grow solid plants with good yields, you need the correct tools. But that goes for anything - a mason doesn't use a spatula and dinner plate to lay bricks and a surgeon doesn't use a kitchen knife to do surgery. Can it be done? Sure. Will it be a good final product? Most likely not.

Don't let that put you off though! There are LOTS of workarounds and part of the fun is making your grow just that - yours! And that changes based on your needs, situations, and resources available.

Keep it up, keep learning, and we look forward to seeing your next grow!

Thanks a lot. I guess I'll start over with proper planning.

Glad I'm not the only one that feels guilty when that happens! Will be fun to see how it does!

It's shocked to the point where it won't recover. Also the coir does not look right and likely isn't the type recommended for cannabis (no perlite or vermiculite), The lighting is insufficient and the nutrients are far and away killing the plant (30 - 10-10 is too high)...add to that the water PH is likely way off.

I hope there is an afterlife...there are a lot of friends and family I'd like to see again, one day.

Bora93 ... Did it live? Mine is where yours was, planted 3 weeks ago. It went through a phase of yellowing and wilting but now has rooted and showing new green growth. I'm curious and hoping yours made it.
