Dried weed caps.

Is it doable to make edibles by filling capsules with dried decarbed weed? Will this actually work?

I don't see why not. Assuming that the flower has been decarb'd, it should be able to be absorbed via ingestion.

I've done caps with an ethanol tincture that I double boiled and reduced to oil. It was a real pain in the ass filling them, even with an oral syringe. But gummies with that oil, my hell, I'll never do that again. Such a mess! Lol.

You can press them into pills would be easer I would think. I fill some 000 sized caps by hand with a powder and it's PITA.

Howdy OldManGrower. I have been making my on canna-caps for several years now. Although not perfect, they do have their benefits. I cure both the trim and buds, grind them (separately), and decarb them. I fill number 0 size gel caps a 50-piece capsule holder (press). I use the trim caps during the day, when I need to get things done and take the bud caps at night. The main drawback of using the caps is that the effects can take from 1/2 to a couple of hours to feel, depending on when they are taken and what is already in your stomach. Taking them on an empty stomach with water seems to give the quickest results. The advantages, to me, are not much waste (I even grind up the 'bud stems'), and they seem to last longer. Don't get me wrong, I still burn a bowl in the evening for a quicker result and just for nostalgia's sake! LOL!!
I recently took a lead from Nebula's newsletter about the 'firecracker' PeanutButter crackers and added some vegetable oil (canola) to some of the last batch, and it did seem to improve the caps.
