    Cola problem revisited

I am stumped with what is taking place in my grow room. As stated in a previous post I have several colas and various buds dying while the rest of the plant is healthy. I have included two pics for your review. To recap. this is my first grow when flowering inside. I have always flowered outside but the weather is requiering me to move inside to flower. I use LEDs. Lights are 1200 watt. I keep the light 18-24 inches above canopy. Organic grow.. Compost mollasses and urine for nutrients. I have done many grows with this system with great results. Buds are plump, solid and high quality. fire away with questuions .PLEASE. I am NOT a newbee. Growing for several years. No bugs to be seen. In the past 2-3 weeks I have cut 10 plus branches because of this issue. I have had complete plants die in the past but a rare occurance.
I have always harvested by watching the tricomes. When I see them starting to turn amber, time to cut. I am not see the tricomes turn on this grow as of yet. Is this common with indoor grows?
Any and all input is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Sorry for the quality of photos. My phone does not take great detail photos.

Howdy Scooter, I'm not a 'soil' grower (hydroponics is my forte') , but I recently had a very similar problem occur on a few stems of one of the plants in my last grow. Ony on branch on one plant was showing very similar signs as Your plant is showing. I did not find out what the problem was until I began to harvest her early thinking that it might be an infection or infestation or something). Seeing the photos that You posted triggered my mind when I saw that You use the similar type of plant ties (I assume for LST of the plants). When I harvested the 'affected' plant, I found that one of the 'early on' ties had cut into (or the plant grew around it and had restricted or cut off the nutrient flow to that branch! After seeing the photos of Your sickly plant (or the affected branch) I can see that there may be some of the ties cutting into the plant. I would either recommend first, cutting away the lower ties around the affected branch, or secondly, just go ahead and harvest that one branch and let the rest of it continue maturing.
    Good luck with Your grow.
    Smoke weed,.....grow peace!

Thank you for the input.the ties I use are Fine wire that is rubber coated and I do use it very sparingly. Only when I have a brach in danger of breaking. I have not seen any ties getting consumed(for lack of a better word) by the plant all points of touching are easily moved. However I will keep this in mind. By the way only one of the plants in one photo has ties the other does not.

Howdy Scooter, I just assumed that the photos were of the same plant (I should have remembered what my High School Chemistry teacher always said, " When one assumes, it makes an 'ass' out of 'u' and 'me'!! LOL). But, anyway, I thought that I would pass that on (after seeing the photos).

Something similar to this came up on the forum a couple years ago and I believe it ended up being from Fusarium Wilt. You might want to go online and see examples and compare them to what's going on with your plants.

Find out how to get rid of and prevent fusarium wild in cannabis plants; the most effective methods, just a click away.

Also IF this IS the issue I would toss those dead buds just to be safe.

Scooter Just to add a bit more info to what folks correctly identified above:

Fusarium oxysporum: soil fungus, aka Panama disease. It will kill a lot more than cannabis:
    https://www.indiatimes.com/explainer...na-568067.html

So you need to do a thorough cleaning of grow room, get rid of the soil you're using and start with all sterile components. And make sure you don't bring it into the grow room on dirty clothing, pots, equipment.

It looked like fungus to me and I've never seen it in person, thankfully. A 5 gal bag for an outdoor auto and 3 used 3 gal meant for basil, marigolds, etc got taken outside not by me. I wanted to start them in the closet. They're not coming back inside now. So much rain, so many bugs outside by the doors. The '"death because I was septic" grow remains are in the garden cart in the bedroom, I can work in the AC. Closet needs me to rewire ext cords for fans, it's clean. I want to organize stuff and find places for seldom used items before I start seeds. I don't like clutter. Or searching. Or going to the dispo. Is a caffeine migraine worth getting things growing? In the long run - yes.
Soil: Coast of Maine Stonington Blend, perlite; Seedlings: CoM org potting soil
        Indoor: 2 x 5.5 x 8' Closet grow
Viparspectra XS2000; EnjoYield 220W full spectrum light added during flower
        Various size fabric grow bags
Cal-Mag & GH Trio if needed; Flower Fuel & molasses during bloom; ReCharge
4 clip fans. Exhaust into attic is vented to the eaves
        Current grow: DEAD FLOWERS

Thanks to all for the info. I have had fungus problems in the past which does look very similar. Only difference I can see is there is no, zero, fungus that can be seen. However. My soultions is to harvest the entire crop. Most if not all hairs had already turned to red from white. Not my normal way to decide harvest time but as I said first flower inside so a small learning curve. As I harvested I did find several buds and portions of buds that had also turned brown. Meticulosly looked for issues and nothing was found. So it might be fungus and it might be that they girls were beyond their prime and fadding. Brown buds get tossed and we will see what happens next grow. On the up side- the tricomes never changed to amber while the buds are the fattest and densest I have every harvested. Loose some to diease and harvest beautiful buds? to me a good trade. I did run an AC unit the entire flower period along with a dehumidifier so I am not convinced the problem is fungus. No signs other than browning dead buds. I will post again on the next flower attemp and keep everyone informed. This grow is complete and drying. Thank you to all the input. This fourm has been a help to me in the past and hopefully will be around for future issues.

              More info
It does look like the photos provided by the above noted links.
I have experienced several branches that have died, along with a few buds or parts there of which have turned brown with the rest of the plant doing just fine including the brach with the brown bud or part there of.

My tomatoes outside always got this. Starts at the bottom and slowly continues up. Usually the plant can keep up growing outside though.

But I've been adding a lot of calcium nitrate and nute waste water to them this year. Stopped the wilt in it's tracks.

And with LEDs they too stress the calcium levels.

Crop health drives vegetable crop yield and quality. Having the right balance of nutrients at various growth stages is critical for the crop’s defense a...

Crop nutrition can impact two resistance mechanisms to reduce the incidence of Fusarium and other common plant pathogenic diseases in vegetable crops:
                • Creating mechanical barriers, such as the strengthening of cell walls
                • The accelerated production of natural defense compounds
Calcium plays an important role in host resistance

Calcium is an essential component in maintaining the cell wall structure of a plant. Poor calcium nutrition can increase the crop susceptibility to fungi that can enter the xylem and dissolve cell walls causing the plant to wilt.
