    Not bud rot

Lack of experience has made me ultra paranoid. Was looking at some recently cured Thai Haze I saw some hairs on the bottom of a candy leaf and immediately feared it was mold:

but it was everywhere and I had already sampled the batch and it was very nice so decided to take a close look at the clipping from a very young healthy plant still in veg and see the same hairs:

Humidity has been in the thirties so I really doubt I have mold on a healthy young plant. Am I correct to stand down? False alarm?

I'm pretty sure they're just trichomes, there's a few types of trichomes. Rot through a microscope looks like webs or at least what I've seen there's probably some that look different

Excellent question!! I never saw hairs like that before, so I looked around and found this article on microscopic views of Cannabis:

These are trichome hairs on a pepper plant:

Cured in a jar? if it smells like weed then it's fine. if it smells like ammonia then it's likely rot/mold
I hope there is an afterlife...there are a lot of friends and family I'd like to see again, one day.
