Hello old friends, newbies, tokers, midnight smokers, and whoever else is here:
This is what I've been doing for the past year: perfecting the art of the HORIZONTAL GROW. I grow in a couple of BCNL grow boxes with LED Cobbs. I'm in my sixth year of growing the Goddess.
Each grower has to discover what works best for their given environment and their own needs. Obviously, I'm not going for the biggest harvest I can get; I'm going for the best bud I can grow. I'm delighted with the results. Some people may call me decadent and wasteful; others may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one. I know how I like my bud. So here goes.
I mainline my plants:![Click image for larger version

My grow boxes have 36" vertical space, so I veg them until they are slightly too tall for my box--to around14" height. When I flip to flower, they usually increase in height between 200-300% from a good strong veg period, then I super-crop the colas so they continue growing horizontally.

Flower week 3 before and after defoliation. Then, I train, attach to walls and ceiling as needed.
The buds get huge, and heavy with child.
