No personal experience with that fixture, but it should be more than adequate for a 4x4.
    WHAT???
    5x5 grow space
    900w of Vero's and F-strips
    4-17gal totes self-made UC system.

I have the SE3000 and it's awesome. It gives off no heat. But I do have the ballast outside the grow room, which is a great option with this series. My room is 4'x4' and the SE3000 is acceptable. I'm pulling out THC content over 20%. The 5000 is twice the price, so it came down to cast for me. But you'll have no issues with it and if you can afford the 5000, then why not.

My 2 cent- I have SF 4000 and am happy with it. Good results. I will say that the distance spec on the SF site are not reliable. I was getting burn at 10 inches in flower. I settled on 18-25 for veg and no closer than 14-15 in flower. A rule of thumb I figured out is to place your hand below your light palm down, then slowly raise your hand, paying attention to the heat you feel on the back of your hand. As you raise your hand to the light note the heat that you feel. You will find a spot where the intensity of the heat increases very fast for the distance your hand is moved. That distance should be about your minimum distance in bloom.
Don't worry, be happy, grow sticky buds.

The SF series and SE series of lights are very different. Spider Farmers limits on height are pretty accurate. I've been sitting mine at 12" and I have no light burn. You'll be impressed with the light coverage of the SE series. Get yourself some sunglasses (no joke lol) I've had no issues with the LED's, I'm very happy with my purchase.

kpl, I'm confused. In your picture, do yo have plants in various stages of growth? As for the buds I see in the pic., they look great. Your leaves will naturally start to curl and die off as the buds form in the last weeks of flowering. I'm in my 3rd week of flowering and my light is 12" from my four plants and I'm into my 3rd week of flowering. I'd be lowering that light and cranking her up to 100%. I NEVER use the dimmer, only adjust the light height during stages. I'm still having problems with the plant on the left in the photo...it looks like it's still in veg cycle?

yes they hasn't started flowering yet, the left one are auto's i trimmed the shit out of I hope they still bud, and the one that's budding was a bag seed, i thought they where getting to much light. I'll turn the dimmer off and see what happens. I dont know what I'm doing LOL! I take the auto's out at night and put them under another light
