6 is best. Those are optimum pH element absorption charts, Manganese can probably still be used by the plant in small amounts. I think calcium and magnesium are more important for the plant.

Check the water that You are using. Here the city puts out an annual water quality report that lists all of the dissolved solids and various chemicals. Here We have well water and surface reservoirs (rain run off) for our water supply and it all ready contains a fair amount of the need trace elements in it, so I do not use any additional calcium/magnesium supplements.
